Mission: Revitalization through art
Programs: After being gifted the cornerstone chapel, brierly hall (formerly friendship hall)and the adjacent parsonage located in the heart of downtown peculiar, dpacd members, local tradesmen and the peculiar charitable foundation worked together to repair the buildings, which had become rundown and in need of repair, back to the gathering center it once was. Dpacd now uses the building for all of its events and programs, and makes the buildings available for rent and is used as a community recycling center and by specified community groups in the event of a disaster.
the seventh annual clara brierly festival of the arts provided festival goers of all ages entertainment, music, dancing, art, demonstrations and food among neighbors, family and friends.
the peculiar piccadilly & art auction is held the last weekend of february. This themed event raises funds and community awareness through an evening meal with live entertainment and an unique art auction.
