DSNetwork is a great organization. They are able to support not only families with individuals with Down syndrome, but they provide information and programs to the community to better understand what Down syndrome is.

Our middle son was born with DS and it was quite a shock. We were quickly introduced to a parents organization - Down Syndrome Network. We were impressed with the quality of the information and its members and joined the Board to help with growth and development. Since that time, DS Network has grown significantly and has secured the attention of many donors, healthcare providers and educatiors. The organization is building managerial depth and is poised for tremendous growth.

When my son was born we were overwhelmed upon learning he had Down syndrome. DS Network helped us navigate through the maze of government agencies and paperwork to start early intervention therapy and provided a forum for discussing issues with other parent. We immediately got involved with the organization and it has since grown into a group that educates teachers and parents, maintains a medical and education directors and has ambitions of building a DS center in Arizona. It is the best organization I have worked with and has helped our family immensely. I am proud to be a part of this organization.

DSN advocates for the protection of rights for my nephew who has DS. DSN's efforts have raised awareness about DS issues at the local and state as well as national levels. I fully support the aspirations of this organization.

DS Network is such an amazing organization. With all the cuts to EVERYTHING theraputic for our special needs children, they stepped up to the plate an are offering so many events to help in the growth and development of our kiddo's, with little or no cost. The parents and professionals involved are the most giving and charitable people I have ever come into contact with. Thank you all for your help and support, I only wish I would have found you sooner. Cheer's to a great future.

Down Syndrome Network is an amazing organization. The board members in this organization are incredibly well-informed and fantastic networkers. This group provides social events, educational events, national news, local news, as well as medical talks and information. This group supports DS research. The connecting of so many people with so much info. makes it a progressive group.

Down Syndrome Network has been there for me and my family right from the start! My son, Jacob, was born with Down syndrome in April, 2006. We were shocked and saddened, and didn't know what to do first. Someone told me to call DSNetwork, and I'm so grateful that I did. Through this group, I have received so much helpful advice from other parents. I've been to educational seminars on a wide range of topics that are all helpful for raising my son. I've found a solid community of people to support me and for me to support as well. This group has been a huge help for us in so many ways!

This organisation has been great in that it connects families together in the Phoenix area. I have had the opportunity to speak with people and share experience, knowlege as well as prideful and difficult times. I like it as a support, and in that way it has been of wonderful value to me and my family. L Johnson

When our son was born with Down syndrome, my husband and I had many questions and we were in need of information and support. I spoke with many people from this group after our son was born and started attending playgroups, workshops and other fun events. Our son has brought us many blessings including the people we have met and the information we have gained through DSNetwork.

When I joined up with Down Syndrome Network I was in need of opportunities to socialize as a family and feel acceptance. I craved education so I could feel confident in myself as a mom of a child with a disability who had abilities. I also desired a place where I could give back by share my talents. A few years later I am still socializing, gaining confidence and giving back as my talents develop. I greatly appreciate what Down Syndrome Network has provided as our family travels the wonderful journey of Down syndrome.

We have been very blessed to be a part of the DS Network "family" for almost 3 years now. My husband & I joined the fantastic online support forum before my 2 1/2 yr old was even born. My son was diagnosed with having Down Syndrome in my 27th week of pregnancy and right away I found a wonderful support system and tons of information supplied by this organization. DS Network provides very informative speakers, social gathering, and a support forum that is wonderful. DS Network has truly been a wonderful guide on many levels in our life journey with our amazing little boy and I'm looking forward to participating in future events.

My husband and I were blessed with the birth of our first child, a baby girl, on December 9, 2008. She was diagnosed as Down Syndrome at delivery which threw us for a complete loop. Our doctor introduced us to a mutual friend, also a mother of a baby with DS, who then introduced us to the DS Network. The DS Network has been such a blessing to our family. DS Network maintains a very informative website and offers valuable information by way of an email distribution list. We have found the other families to be supportive, compassionate, and willing to help out in any way possible. We are thankful for this new "family" and truly appreciate the ability to walk this path with such kind people.

Down Syndrome Network has been a God-send to my wife and I as we've groped with the challenges of raising our 15 month old, Anabel, who has Down Syndrome. They've given us support emotionally with personal phone calls, but also in assisting us as we navigate the labyrinth of services that are needed.

Down Syndrome Network has made such a big difference in my life and the life of my family. My experience with DS would have been so much different, more difficult, and less meaningful. Down Syndrome Network has helped me emotionally, finding resources, education, friends and strength to face life. I cannot imagine people dealing with Down Syndrome without an organization like this one by their side.

I have been apart of DSNetwork AZ since my son with DS was born 6 years ago. This group has been instumental in providing me and my family with timely information about helath concerns, education, and local resources. We have participated in seminars, fund raisers, and other awareness activities. Without DSNetwork I believe many parents would feel lost and alone in their pursuit to provide their child with the best possible chance.

Without Down Syndrome Network, I wouldn't have met so many great families that are in the same situation that I am in- raising a child with Down Syndrome. From this group, I have been able to attend social activities from playgroups to Christmas parties to swim parties. I have attended workshops where I gained tips on how to potty train my child and most recently how to teach my children to read. This group is wonderful!

This is such an active and informative group. I have a son w/down syndrome. Whenever I have a question, or need someone's previous experience, everyone is so helpful. They have so many ways for us to learn, and many fun activities for the whole family. We moved here to AZ 4 years ago, and got connected before the move. I don't know what we'd have done without the DS Network!

Before I found DS Network, I did not have information to help me with new strategies I could use with my 4 year old daughter Erica. DS Network has been a very helpful and valuable organization for my family. DS Network puts together conferences and workshops to help families with needed information to help deal with the challenges we face with our special needs children. DS Network assists with providing and sharing information to families so that families don’t have to re-invent the wheel instead this organization helps families with providing support and sharing valuable information. I am proud to be a member of this wonderful organization.
