DJGMF is full of people who genuinely care about making a difference in the lives of soldiers and veterans. It's hard to find all-volunteer non-profits these days, and the fact that everyone involved in this organization offers their time without a concern for money is just another reassurance that their hearts are in it for the right reasons. As we move into yet another year of this lingering war, many forms of support for deployed soldiers continue to dwindle as people lose interest in foreign affairs, which means the work of organizations like DJGMF is of the utmost importance. Not only do they aid in boosting morale overseas with reminding soldiers that they're work is appreciated, but their presence in the community is a reminder to american citizens that a war is still being fought. For all of the work they do for soldiers, their families and friends and the surrounding community at large, DJGMF wholeheartedly deserves recognition as a top-rated non-profit.
I only volunteer and give to few charities and this is one that I promote whole heartedly. What this organization has accomplished from a tragic situation is beyond words. They took a family members death in protecting out country to helping those that do the same and bring a brighter day to their days so that we can have brighter days. The Green family has done something that not many organizations do. So many give freely to help our men and women in the service and make their day. Thank you Green family!
the DJGMF is an amazing and giving organization. their mission is one not many would take upon theme selves to do, but they do it, and do it above and beyond anyone else possibly could, and did i mention they do it with a smile?
nothing but respect for Suni and her team, thank you all for your efforts and dedication.
The Douglas J Green Memorial Foundation is old school americana. A grass roots campaign full of national and civic pride. The women who run the organization are completely invested personally, hands on, and utterly selfless. They spend countless hours raising money, all of which, including plenty of their own cash, goes directly towards helping to support our troops, in all branches, by sending them care packages from the states with cards/letters from local school children, snacks, drinks, and items that they can't get overseas that give them a little piece of normalcy and home. Truly the least we can do for those that are willing to give so much for us. The Douglas J Green Memorial Foundation is not a hobby or a career for the women who run it, but it is who they are, part of their souls. They're truly worthy of any support, in time or money, that you can afford them.
