Mission: Our mission is to remember dorothy and keep her spirit alive to inspire the next generation to live as dorothy did, in harmony with the environment, with great dignity and courage, helping mankind, and making a significant contribution towards a better world.
Programs: The museum offered tours, specialized children's day programs and free community events such as whirlwind, dorothy day, night at the museum, donuts at dorothy's, and cocktails at the cabin. The museum received approximately 5,166 visitors during 2016. Along with programming for the public the museum completed digitizing and cataloging of the basic archives of papers and correspondence, completed an oral history project, and received an iron range resources and rehabilitation culture and tourism grant to fund improvements to the community bird-feeding area and "pocket park.
