Dopeace a USA based donor working for the poor children living in slums of Bangladesh implementing cost effective education program. DoPeace was founded by Dr. Shahid Ahmed.
DoPeace has found an effective way of delivering education to children who would otherwise reach adulthood without ever having stepped in a classroom. They have done so in a way that maximizes donations while best facilitating teaching for children living in dire conditions in Bangladeshi slums.
The availability of a free school is just not enough. Aside from the most basic of infrastructure, DoPeace partners with the children's parents. Without this, the parents would not allow their children to go to school. They would instead have these children start work at a young age, which is the standard in the slums of Bangladesh.
DoPeace teachers go to the homes of their students when they miss classes. They bring compassion to these children whose educational needs are otherwise neglected. They provide a way out of the slum where these children, their parents, and their grandparents were born. They provide the prospect of a career and subsequently integration with the greater society which these children and their families have never known.
DoPeace has created a model that works, and works efficiently. All they need now is our support.
