I have been an acquaintance of Don Shire's for many years and have traveled with him on many Missions trips. He is a great guy, good trumpet player, and really knows how to reach out and help those who are hurting. Don's Ministry is the real deal. His care for the orphans and widows where he works is innovative and second to none.
I would encourage all to help support his work. Almost every cent goes to those who need it in the field and not to overhead.

Dsm ag program - the goal of the dsm ag program is to teach hungry people, particularly but not exclusively in third world countries, how to help feed and provide for themselves through agriculture and small business enterprises. We have established a model for this in the u. S. With the hope that the good produced from the ag program (vegetables, fruits, and meats) will provide funds for the international outreach.
