I'm connected to DMP because I know the people who run it. I know the founder and it's employees and the wonderful people who volunteer their time. Knowing that this foundation is built with people who have such amazing hearts for others that they dedicate their lives and their time to helping the needs of people in such fun and creative ways always puts a smile on my face. Doing My Part is an amazing organization ran by amazing people!
It is sometimes difficult for me to know where to start.. how to help and make my mark. I am only one individual after all.
With Doing My Part, I am able to contribute my time and skills to multiple causes, helping multiple people, all with different needs.
As we come together and each commit to "doing my part", we are able to tackle the needs of Charlotte and make this city a better place one person at a time.

From the moment I met these guys I could tell they were a special group of people. I’ve witnessed them bring joy to families across the Charlotte region. One thing I greatly appreciate about Doing My Part is that they help out at the source so that you know where the money is going. A very personal touch!
Doing My Part is a movement! We use crowd funding strategies to assist individuals in need. Over the years, we have helped many sick and underprivileged children. Check out our website to see specific stories. Also, we've created a platform that doesn't require money to make a change in this world. For example, in 2016, Doing My Part hosted over 80 volunteer events in the Charlotte NC area. What a great way to get involved in the community and meet like minded individuals!
I love doing my part to help out . the volunteer groups are an amazing time to help others and give back to our amazing city. The videos of the completed projects and project updates are wonderful ways to see exactly where the donations are going and who we are able to help. I've been a volunteer for 4 years and will continue to support doing my part!
Doing My Part is doing great things locally and I'm proud to be a part of it. With the right direction and execution DMP can really make a big impact in the coming years.
I just started volunteering at Doing My Part and I can already tell the people in this organization are passionate about what they do. DMP has helped children and families in need and with their result driven minds the possibilities are endless!
DMP helps local children in Charlotte through monthly donations from it's members. You can become a member for as little as $3 per month. As a member you get to vote on which project you would like funded. As soon as that project gets 10 votes it gets funded! It's amazingly powerful what a small amount of money can add up to with the growing membership!
Sandra and Keena from Doing My Part have been such an amazing help to my family and especially my daughter Mia while we were going though some difficult times after her treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. We are so thrilled to have been part of this wonderful organization and are grateful for all that they have done for us.
I feel so proud and confident of my contribution to Doing my Part. All the help goes directly to the needed person. And they give us all the information in details , before and after the project. I have had the best experience ever with a non-profit. My issue has always been I never know where exactly my money goes when I send in a check. Here, I get to donate to specific individuals highlighted in their website/facebook page, where I get to see the before, during, and after, in almost real-time. And once, I even got to volunteer build a ramp for a little sick boy in a wheelchair and meet him, providing FULL TRANSPARENCY of what the need is and how they provide a solution and make a CHANGE in people's lives. I have never seen a non-profit like this one, just wonderful!!!
