Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Doggy Dog World Rescue's mission is to save dogs and cats from high kill shelters, rehabilitate them if necessary, and find them forever homes with the loving families those animals deserve. We accomplish this through the use of foster families and our own homes, along with holding adoption events in local pet stores and through our website and rescue partners.
Results: Doggy Dog World Rescue saved and placed over 320 animals during 2012.
Programs: Formed in 2008 ddwr has rescued and found forever homes for 1923 dogs and more than 361 cats during 2014 433 dogs and 121 cats were adopted
doggy dog world rescue works closely with retailers like petco to sponsor adoption events at their stores
its community outreach efforts include taking dogs and cats to the denver pet expo to increase community awareness about the plight of homeless animals
