Puppy raising for Doggie Does good was one of my most rewarding accomplishments. Doggie Does good helped me every step of the way, providing me with the proper tools and necessities required for the job, along with helpful information and tips regarding the successful longevity of the raising of the puppy. Unfortunately, the puppy I was raising did not meet the proper criteria for the program, so DDG reached out to me offering me the opportunity to keep her. Mia is now doing great and she is one of my best friends!

Doggie Does Good is an amazing facility. I am a service puppy raiser to a beautiful golden retriever. This experience has been so great working with the trainers. They are always there to help and answer any questions if I have them. I have watched the dogs in action and its incredible to see how much they teach them and the dogs love their jobs. I love watching the graduations for the dogs going home to their new partner. I love seeing how the dogs respond to their new partners and how the trainers spend so much time with the owners so they are set up for success. I love this program and would love to continue puppy raising the future service dogs.

I have had the opportunity to work with Doggie Does Good in many different capacities. I puppy raised a beautiful/sweet/intelligent lab named Carter. White it was hart to part with Carter he went on to be matched with a partner. Carter is now improving his partner's life every day. I work alongside with DDG to locate and test rescue dogs for a future as a service dog, "Rescued lives, Changing Lives". The rescue service dog program is one that is dear to my heart. These service dog provide invaluable partnership and service to their human partner. What better way to give back than to rescue dogs who were tossed out by another or who are less fortunate, than to train them and develop their skills for a greater purpose. Doggie Does Good does all of that and more. The paws that walk across the DDG path are changing lives. Thank you Doggie Does Good for all of your wonderful work.

I've been lucky enough to volunteer with Doggie Does Good over the Summer and into this Fall, and I've had a blast doing so! You get to learn about the service dog process and form amazing connections with both the dogs and trainers. There isn't a day that I volunteer, whether it be accompanying trainers on dog field trips to socialize the dogs or even just bathing the pups, that's not filled with smiles and lot's of canine cuddles.

This has been an incredible experience...4 times over! I am a puppy raiser for the amazing organization, Doggie Does Good. I wasn't sure how all of it would work yet Doggies Does Good is so amazing, caring and supporting that I will continue to puppy raise as long as possible.
Being a puppy raiser means potty training, socializing them in a variety of settings and experiences, teaching good manners and giving lots of love. Puppies are usually 8 weeks old when starting and 6 - 7 months old when they're ready to learn their skills and behaviors at Doggie Does Good.
Doggie Does Good has such an outstanding staff that supports the puppy raisers every step of the way, including puppy classes. I love seeing each and every puppy grow confident and ready to take on their new roles with their forever family. I have learned so much from each and every puppy as well as Doggie Does Good.
It is truly bittersweet when it's time for the return, but I know that each puppy will help change the life of someone who needs them and make such a difference. These puppies have enriched my life greatly. I have made many friendships through this experience thanks to Doggie Does Good. I couldn't think of a more rewarding experience or more awesome organization. Thank You Doggie Does Good!!!

In searching for a service dog organization to work with, the most important thing was finding a program that was truly willing to work with my daughter’s very unique needs. My daughter has conitive and physical disabilities as well as complex medical needs. DDG was incredible at truly getting to know my daughter and our entire family in order to select and train the perfect service dog for her. The trainers went above and beyond in ensuring her dog was ready to work with her unique needs. Kota is truly the perfect service dog for our daughter!

I am a puppy raiser for DDG. I receive the puppy when they arrive from the breeder and keep them until they are 6-9 months old in my home. They live with my family and other animals. I take them everywhere with me and socialize them as much as possible and to as many different places/surroundings that I can.

DDG has such an amazing program! I have raised 3 puppies so far, it is very hard to return them ( I always cry), however so rewarding at the same time. I get to help someone in need by socializing a service dog to be confident and well mannered/behaved. DDG does a fantastic job matching the puppies with their handlers and communicating with the puppy raisers. They have regular scheduled visits with the handlers before the puppies start their training. They also have regular scheduled "puppy classes" to offer support and training tips to help the puppy raisers.

This is the most amazing program I have ever been involved in. All of the staff are super friendly and are willing to help in any way needed. If you are looking to volunteer and want to be rewarded at the same time, I highly recommend this!

DDG is in one word, amazing. I have received my service dog, Koda, through their program. Koda has helped change my life for the better. He has helped me become more independent, and less reliable on my family or friends to take care of me. DDG has exceeded all of my expectations with Koda. The transfer/training process itself was a very knowledgeable and smooth process. Throughout the almost year-long journey with them, they have been very kind, friendly, and communicative by giving me training updates, answering questions, and just making my time with them a rememberable experience overall.

DDG has been amazing and supportive in my service dog journey. I received a service dog from one of their first cohorts and I can say they take all feedback and have improved their training immensely. It’s been amazing working with them and I am absolutely thrilled that I have some semblance of life back with my boy!!

Nearly 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with Intractable (or refractory) seizure disorder. That means my seizures are unable to be controlled with treatment. Since I don't have any auras that warn me of an oncoming seizure I began looking into the possibility of a service dog.

I contacted the Epilepsy Foundation and was provided with a long list of organizations that trained service dogs for people with seizures. Most of the organizations on the list were in the Midwest or East Coast. Since I live in California I was looking for an organization that was closer than that and one that would customize the training of my service dog based on what my needs were.

Doggie Does Good was incredibly helpful as I went through all my questions and concerns about service animals. They made sure they paired me with a service dog that was not only able to help me with my seizures but one that could fit into our existing household of rescued pets. Their trainers were amazing and covered everything I requested and even additional tasks I didn't anticipate I'd need.

As a result, I have an amazing service dog who has helped give me more independence and security than I could have ever hoped for.

I can't recommend them highly enough.
