Hi my name is lucy my baby sassy was diagnosed with mammary carcinoma when she was 5. I took hurt to an oncologist where I was told that she would need surgery chemo which would cost $5,000 and she would only live for 6 months. I left in tears and a young man that worked at the clinic reached out to me with the dcc fund website. I was skeptical but desperate to save my baby contacted them by email. Within 24 hours I got en email from this wonderfull person in the dccfund named Katie.she walked me through the process and in 2 weeks my grant was approved. I couldn't be laeve it and I was overjoyed. It has now been 18 months and my sassy is having a second surgery and again this wonderfull organization has made this possible. I can never express my gratitude for giving the gift of keeping my sassy with me a little longer. This is an incredible group of caring people. They are truly amazing.

The organization reached out to me regarding their charitable work after I asked to post on their facebook page regarding fundraising I was doing to save my dog's life (through radiation therapy). They explained the application process and helped me through it. They were so kind and caring. Ultimately they donated $1000.00 (!!!!) to put towards my dog's radiation bills to treat his spindle cell sarcoma. Without their generous gift he would not have been able to get treatment. He's happy and alive today and I am incredibly grateful for their help. They were truly an answered prayer. Their kindness and caring in dealing with a very nervous and frantic dog owner was remarkable and not soon to be forgotten.

This organization paid my vet 750.00 towards the bill for my pug to get the surgery and chemotherapy that he needed. The staff was kind and supportive. The application process was not too difficult and the response time was excellent.
