Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The mission of the lorena ochoa golf foundation is to provide opportunity for children and adults with family based health, fitness, education and inclusion programs delivered through family golf activities.
Programs: Health: foundation conducts approximately 450 golf classes annually attended by approximately 2,000 people. All classes include a fitness session in addition to being outdoors and playing golf. Many are conducted by volunteers and the foundation executive director.
education: provided 15 computers to la barranca school in guadalajara, mexico and 15 computers to cetys university for both student and teacher education. Set up a computer lab with 20 computers for a foundation for kids in riverside, ca. Computers were donated to diversity golf foundation by banamex.
inclusion: foundation invites, teaches, and hosts golf playing opportunities for under-served, at-risk and minority adults and children. We put them in a very healthly outdoor environment and surround them with educated and successful people who become friends and mentors.
