Causes: Arts & Culture, Science & Technology Museums
Mission: To provide an educational facility, operation of a hands-on science museum used to conduct student and teacher workshops. The facility is open to the general public and youth and educational groups.
Programs: Science museum: the discovery center of idaho is dedicated to building and expanding our exhibits and programs in the capacity of museums and libraries to create and sustain a nation of learners. We are dedicated to presenting innovative public exhibits/programs that foster families learning together outside the classroom and play a key role in lifelong attitudes toward learning science, technology, engineering and math.
education classes/camps/outreach: we are dedicated to strengthening school partnerships to inspire teacher and student curiosity in the classroom and beyond. We use onsite education programs as well as statewide outreach.
