We have enjoyed working with Disabling Barriers this year. The staff at DB has been very supportive in working with us through the last grant cycle, answering questions and giving us recommendations and ideas for additional resources for our Spina Bifida community in Colorado. Disabling Barrier's generous funding this year helped up to introduce new and exciting events that brought people with similar disabilities together. Through Disabling Barriers' generosity, we were able to organize outings such as Unwind Wednesday, Lunch and Networking at the Pueblo Zoo and our Summer Luau and Picnic in Colorado Springs, all very well attended. Thank you from the Spina Bifida Association of Colorado.

We can't tell how great Disabling Barriers has been to Special Kids Special Families. With their grant award, we were able to offer several scholarships to low income families to afford care at Zach's Place center for children with disabilities and special needs. This has allowed them to receive very needed respite services. They were very helpful along the way - thank you for making a difference in the lives of the families we serve!
