Mission: The mission of diocesan catholic children's home is to express god's love by providing compassionate care and quality services to address the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of children and families.
Programs: Residential treatment unit: our child care staff and social workers maintain an active involvement in the life of each child in a small group living environment serving 75 to 80 children annually. Each child has a separate room. Children are supervised 24/7. Emphasis is placed on assisting children to develop positive interpersonal relationships with adults and other children.
therapeutic foster care: master level therapists provide a combination of individual, family and group therapy sessions designed to meet the individual needs of children- 83 children were served. Our professional staff and available consultants offer a wide range of psychiatric, psychological, and family services. We provide family therapy over the phone for families significantly far away from the home and unable to come to our campus.
guardian angel school: the school's program is directed toward the modification of behavior in an educational oriented milieu and serves approximately 75 children annually.
out patient therapy program: the dcch has added patient therapy which includes individual therapy for all ages, group therapy, family therapy, marital therapy, spiritual direction, parenting education/support/customized consultation and evidence based therapy. The program served approximately 325 patients in 2015-2016.
