Dignity health, together with its subsidiary corporations, is one of the largest not-for-profit acute health care delivery systems in the united states as measured by annual revenue. Dignity health operated 39 hospitals throughout major california markets and in the phoenix, arizona and las vegas, nevada metropolitan markets during the year ended june 30, 2017. Dignity health and its subordinate corporations' facilities included approximately 8,400 licensed acute care beds and approximately 600 licensed skilled nursing beds as of june 30, 2017.
