Ive been having issues with reception, specifically jenny. I rely on dial a bus for school and they have been picking me up in a spot i cant see from my window. Their justification is one week theyve had to call me more than once about not being ready when they get there. That was a week where i was feeling very sick and having issues with nausia and memory issues. Another reason was the driver would be parked in a spot that i cant see from my window. I dont understand their logic at this point when it's legitimately easier to pick me up at the spot i need. The suggestions theyve given are beyond illogical once i clearly explain why i cant. They told me to just wait outside while 1. Ive never seen them make another kid do this and 2. I deal with severe joint pain, if im in the cold for too long my joints get stiff and can even lock up, and i need to type a lot in school. I also have a severe knee condition and the less i walk on it (easpecially in the cold) the better, because its almost always on the verge of dislocating. Dial a bus has been beyond disrespectful and unprofessional, easpecially reception. I've consistantly talked to reception to try to resolve the issue myself but they cant be reasoned with. I dont really have a choice since its through the school, but if someone is looking for transit i dont reccomend this. Id go with something like rideline if you can.
They are the worst I have ever seen . When you call to book a ride there attitude is hostile especially that Jenny . They refused me a ride for 8 months ( registered paratransit with corvallis ) because I wasn’t working or school . They had a year or two where they got big cash yet even more impossible to get a ride . When they have a change in policy no one is ever notified quote “ we’re busy “ when I could get any ride they burn out any volunteers and they quit . It has become so impossible I gave up and cannot even see my primary NP unless she comes to my house . They never have flyers or mailings so I am on my own shame on jerk employees !!!!!!!
Dial a bus used to be very dependable. Unfortunately, over the last ten months, they no
longer giving the same service . Four times in the last ten months, they have either showed
up thirty minutes late, or didnt show up at all, even though I scheduled appointments a week ahead. When I call in to see why they havent come to pick me up, they tell me I wasnt scheduled, or the driver got lost, or some other flimsy excuse. I have missed three doctor appointments that I waited weeks for because of their lack of service. I am 88yrs old and
was depending on them. Its sad that I no longer have that service with them and have to wait weeks to get an appointment to see the doctor when I can prevail on someone to take
me. Very disappointing.
