I’ve just gone through the qualifying process with them, and I am very impressed with their thoroughness and details. They care deeply about the right fit for their dogs! And...they gave me excellent coaching! Excellent follow up! Knowledgeable, professional and compassionate!

We hope to adopt from them and the particular pup we are interested in shows me how caring and dedicated this group is. Reading the story of this pup showed me miracles and endurance are what saved her life. As I read her story, I began to read other stories about the fosters and the care they gave to each pup. I was heart stuck at the kindness shown. God Bless this group.

I adopted the most special and sweet little fur baby Bones. He was found abandoned with his sister hungry. DFW Pup Patrol uses their personal money when they are shy of donations to rescue these animals and care for them. Their interviewing process is thorough and they truly care about finding the right family for these animals!

Lisa reached out to me and asked me to foster a dog for a couple of weeks. After the first night she became one of my children and I was not able to let her go. We did all the required paperwork and I adopted her as my own. She quickly became a family member and she has settled in completely.

We got our amazing Bentley from DFW Pup Patrol. They were so attentive and caring grouch the process. Since then, our kids have become fosters for the group and I always recommend them when someone is looking for a new pup. Lisa and her group make sure the dogs are ready for adoption before sending them to their new furever home. This step is so important to ensure they are not uprooted or unwanted ever again. Thank you DFW Pup Patrol for all you do for Dallas area pups.

I absolutely love this group. Our second step pup was a foster fail because my daughter and her fell in love with each other. This group really cares about their dogs and goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs grind their perfect family. I recommend this as a group to foster for and adopt from.

We have adopted several pups from this Rescue and I can't say enough good things about them. Our lives just wouldn't be the same without our Maggie, Munchkin, Tucker, Mouser and our little Elf. DFWPP cares so much about each dog that comes to the Rescue and gets them healthy and happy before they look for their forever home. I appreciate that level of caring!

DFW Pup Patrol was kind enough to take in a senior dog of a friend of mine who had passed from cancer. They found a wonderful home for him and I know Trish was smiling down from heaven. Thanks DFWPP for all you do for the homeless furries.

I’ve been a donor to DFW Pup Patrol for years. I appreciate the great work they do. And now, I get to help hands-on by being a Foster to Jordie. Thanks to DFW Pup Patrol for being an excellent advocate for dogs.

This rescue group is amazing! They nursed my sweet Ollie (was named Dale) until he was ready to be adopted after he was dumped in the woods by his previous owners. We couldnt ask for a more precious little guy, and we cant imagine life without him!

I adopted my dog from DFW pup patrol. His foster mom did an awesome job traing him and loving him. He is the sweetest and was already housebroken, crate trained, and knew a few tricks when he moved in with us. I follow this agency on Facebook as well, they truly care about all of the animals they work with. I would definitely adopt from them again.

Se have needed to move 9 times in the last decade and had a tough time finding rental homes that would accept large dogs.... even my sweet puppies! So when we're bought a house last year we decided we'd like to join a big dog rescue group. We found DFW Pup patrol (which accepts all sizes and ages) and became the very happy fosters for Elwood. We kinda feel in love with him and now he's ours for life! Karen J.

I fostered for DFW Pup Patrol on and off for several years, I have since had to take a step back from any type of fostering. My feelings about this group and most specifically Lisa Arion remain the same. The kindness and compassion that are exhibited by this group is endless. DFW Pup Patrol never splits up a mom and puppies, if Lisa agrees to help she will do whatever it takes. While I have never formally adopted a dog from DFW Pup Patrol many in my family have. My story is about a dog in a shelter I wanted to adopt, I was at work and unable to get there. Lisa drove from Wylie to Plano to adopt this dog for me. She made no adoption fee, but she still did it because with her and her rescue it’s about saving the dog first. Period. Everything else is secondary as it should be. I’ve included a picture of the best Valentines Day gift I’ve ever received.

I have been a foster mom for DFW Pup Patrol Rescue for several years. They care so much for the dogs and will do anything it takes to get them healthy and keep them that way. All the dogs are very well vetted and cared for while waiting for their new adoptive homes. If a bit of training is needed, they are given that too.
Great Rescue group!

I started a job in the country- so a stray pup came to our work. I took her home and she was so sweet. My husband wanted me to take her to the animal shelter but I couldn’t. I asked DFW pup Patrol to help me get her adopted. Lisa agreed then we took her to be spade- she was pregnant with at least 7 babies. I almost had a meltdown but Lisa and DFW stood by me and the pups until the last one was adopted. I couldn’t have made it without them. I still have Mama pup but they are still helping us. Just a great group of people.

I adopted 2 of my 3 dogs from DFW Pup Patrol, one of which I fostered with the group before ultimately adopting. The volunteers in this group are so dedicated to the welfare and future happiness of the animals that pass through their care! I am so thankful that they rescued my Iggy and Mojo, and did such a great job caring for them until they made it to their forever home.

Question; what do I recommend? The kind, caring, supportive, personal attention, community involvement, wonderful volunteers, wonderful fosters, wonderful events, and, subperb Rescue organization with a verity of adoptable pets. I've been both a client served and donor with DFW Pup Patrol. They helped me through one of my darkest hours. I went on to help try to raise funds for them through Facebook birthday fundraiser.

As a foster volunteer, I can say firsthand this is an incredible rescue group. Lisa is the Mother Theresa of dog world. She makes sure each pup she rescues is given the best care and followed carefully to find the very, very best home. She constantly communicates with her fosters. Her pups have often been through the worst situation and Lisa is their guardian angel. It’s a fortunate abandoned or abused pup who finds its way to DFW Pup Patrol’s caring arms.

I love the DFW Pup Patrol! I have been a foster for them for the last 2 years. They take care of their dogs and only place into the best homes. I wouldn't want to work with any other rescue!

I have pulled many dogs in urgent need from our local shelters for DFW Pup Patrol over the years. I have helped at events, know their foster parents as well as the group's founder. I have pulled a large assortment of dogs who were in need of extensive medical care and those who were just out of time, due to the shelters running out of space, for this amazing rescue group. This group is remarkable! They are 100% dedicated to serving those animals fortunate enough to find themselves a part of the DFW Pup Patrol organization and extended family. This rescue organization helps dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and mixed breeds. DFW Pup Patrol is foster based. Their trainers and foster families work tirelessly to prepare their rescued dogs for successful placement and vet promptly & thoroughly. I can't say enough about DFW Pup Patrol and their contribution to the community.

I started fostering thru DFW pup patrol almost a year ago. I absolutely love being able to save animals and see them go off to new homes. This group helps you with anything you need, whether it be a question or just moral support. Great group of friends with the same desire to help dogs in our area and make a difference.

I started volunteering with DFW Pup Patrol around 6 years ago. I helped by temperament testing and transporting dogs in need from my nearby city shelters to the dog rescue's group's vet's office or meeting fosters with the shelter dogs. I cannot express what a rewarding experience it has been to see these dogs go from unloved, neglected and thrown away to cherished family members as a direct result of the efforts of DFW Pup Patrol's founder, Lisa Arion, and her many warm and friendly volunteers. I have helped at occasional garage sales and adoption events and never cease to be impressed by the level of care and professionalism that exists within this group. This is a dedicated group that honors their limits and only takes in the number of animals they can serve properly and well. They are an outstanding organization.

I started fostering for DFW Pup Patrol a year ago after moving to Wylie. All the volunteers have been so nice...it's almost like a little family. The best part is being able to be a part of helping a previously unwanted dog find his/her forever home. It's a great feeling!
