DRF chose a very thoughtful approach in tackling the many problems that have plagued Iraq for decades.
Working at different levels, from providing food and basic necessities to families in need like sponsoring thousands of orphans and widows to starting programs to help able men and women to complete training that teaches them a skill to get a job and hence become independent. To founding preschool and elementary schools for orphans and secondary school for girls to educate the future generations. Many of those young women who graduated Alsalihat high school are attending medical and pharmacy schools now!
Then the idea of no-interest loan is a great example of a modern day Ongoing Charity (Sadeqah Jareyah)!
Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital is providing advanced medical treatments for thousands of patients free of charge.
With more upcoming projects like a medical school and other ambitions by the will of Allah the DRF will continue to lead the way for a better reality in our beloved country and encourage other nonprofit organizations to follow this path.
Thanks to this organization, over 7,000 orphans are fed, clothed, educated, and sheltered. They also sponsor a state-of-the-art hospital which is one of the best in its entire region. Definitely recommend!
