I've worked at Desert Manna since August 2015 starting as a volunteer with limited knowledge of the "work" process. It has been a blessing for me and my family. Since being here I have been able to successfully gain employment with not only one but two jobs. They maintain a friendly atmosphere with complete structure. Not only that but they have been able to bless many people with stability to move forward into sustainable housing.

My family and I were Blessed to find a family room or so we thought. The staff/ clients were friendly and helpful but this place is INFESTED with BEDBUGS I was there less than an hour in our room when I seen a bed bug cross my purse. I was shaken and thought I was mistaken when checking on my sleeping son seen Two on the pillow. That was it for me.... Lucky I left when I did by midnight my feet and ankles were full of bumps from them feeding in that small amount of time 2 of my children's backs and arms had several bites. I threw away everything I took inside before I left but still placed our papers and irreplaceable items in bags. It was a horrific experience too say the least. I understand there are random people that come through and it's hard to tell whom has what. I know they're there to help but I feel it set me back cause I lost clothes and my personal items still ended up in my car itching for a week. I'm blessed to say We have now been accepted elsewhere and will be back in our own home in two weeks.

Desert Manna Ministries and the Director Re. SherI Randolph are great! This Ministry provided sack lunches during the summer for very low income children.
