Great books, helpful information on religion and application. However, Ms. Juanita has control problems and lies as an effort to over assert herself for no legitimate reason.... operating in her flesh, which craves sinful DOMINATION, instead of good mentorship. Ms. Juanita also lacks biblical references for several of her viewpoints. Don’t make your opinions an idol as Mr. Prince teaches. As good advice, I would not give my real name when sharing any personal problems. Ms . Juanita takes the information and turns it into a bondage over you, scapegoating you for your problems (despite common sense discernment) by negatively overshadowing just EVERYTHING about you (even when you kindly say, “thank you” and “God bless you” the staff treat you as though you should doubt what you are saying is good and instead should believe that you are sinning....gaslighting everything you say) and spreading social poison....stigma. Satan loves to work through other people to get to you. The devil loves religious leaders’ pride, domination issues, and selfishness. I regret having shared certain personal information with Ms. Juanita. The ministry puts her on a pedestal and starts gas lighting you over mostly everything, once they read Ms. Juanita’s insidious notes (lies) on you because you ask her for help on certain things. I don’t recommend trusting these folks with too much information.... they abuse it.... bad deal. As far as books go... so far all their books I highly recommended. It’s their spotted following of the teaching that I have a big problem with. As the saying goes, preaching is easy, application is the bigger challenge. Apostle Paul’s teachings are a great example of that. That is why no leader should have so much power to take advantage as Ms. Juanita does and ministries should make their leaders accountable instead of scapegoating and even worse gas lighting the victim who brings forth a complaint against Ms. Juanita turned toxic. When you are too bothered and/ or egotistical to help a client any further, just quit interacting and refer them to someone else. Don’t attack them as a person and spread lies as your cover....now you have become a sinner against your client.

Amazing ministry. They are rich in knowledge and very personable in many ways. I do recommend many of their books. I feel blessed to read their teaching books and apply them. They have a lot of great mentoring and great prayer too. However, no one is perfect. We all fall short of perfection. The bible says that the body of Christ should edify itself. My understanding is that edification includes everyone from up high on the chain of command to down low on the chain....from the left arm to the right arm of the body of Christ from the head to the toes of the body of Christ...from the ears to the nose to the mouth and Visa versa....all members are to edify the entire body of Christ. I hope my criticism is taken constructively. It is not meant to harm but only to bring for an inadequacy as something that can be fixed and then will not be an issue.

I have had many wonderful experiences with the Derek Prince ministry and I love their teaching books. I even give their books out to minister to others. However, their is another issue. It is complicated in a way but also simple in another way. I was homeless at the time. My child unaware of the danger of the street and oncoming traffic kept jerking hard, pulling my other child and me with all his strength into the street, putting us in danger of getting hit by oncoming auto traffic. Not to mention that I had several health and disability issues that where compounded by my child's intense jerking, dragging, and pulling into a dangerous high traffic road. At the time, it was quite a strain for me and exasperated my disability and health illnesses, but I managed to pull my child back out of the street. I did give my child a stern correction. Some folks nearby did not like how I corrected my child and went on the attack toward me like I was a bad parent. I told a man (who instigated confrontation with me) that my child jerking and dragging my other child and I (with all his strength) into a high traffic street could have caused us to get hit by an automobile. The accuser did not respond empathetically. Instead, he kept verbally attacking me. I then walk away to avoid conflict. Later this accuser vindictively chased my children and I, physically blocked the sidewalk in a guard type of posture. He continued harassment and intimidation toward my children and me using the sidewalk, which as a result could cause an auto accident (possibly causing resulting in death or severe injury to my children and me) in itself because we are near that high traffic road and side walk are made for helping people walk easier anyway. Not to mention that I had mobility handicaps at the time. There are multiple risk factors here. That is why people should respond intelligently not vindictively. The accuser was influencing danger toward my family while in a delusion that somehow he in blocking sidewalk access in menacing behavior was doing something good. In reality, his intentional blocking of the side walk, harassing and intimidating my family from accessing the sidewalk was a serious issue.

I told Ms. Juanita about the initial incident and the accuser's confrontation toward me. I also told Ms. Juanita that it set off another health issue that I have that can be described as a type of hang up, as Dereck Prince calls it. For example, stress can set off a person who struggles not to smoke to grab a cigarette because it can be a form of coping. It's not like that exactly for me but it's an example.

I asked Ms. Juanita if she could pray for me and if she had any helpful books on the topic. She did recommend a good book and kindly sent it to me free of charge. I greatly appreciate this hospitality in the Dereck Prince ministry. As I said they have many great ministry works and in many ways truly are a light to the Nations. However, in this very intense situation, I did not feel that she approached the coaching part with good understanding on this particular issue. Many times though I did feel she was very helpful. Albeit, on this issue I felt like she missed the mark.

No one is perfect. Only Jesus lived as a perfect human being. Even after the the pentecost that occurred in the books of Acts, Apostle Paul even said that he struggled to do what he wants to do as a Christian and did things that he did not want to do, as in sinning. Paul said that we all must crucify our flesh every day. He said the flesh is our enemy and wars against what God would have us do. No one is perfect.

As a customer of the Derek Prince Ministry I am just giving feedback due to the fact that I feel my phonecall feedback was invalidated by their ministry leadership, because they see me as a stigma, in a way and because it is criticism against a person in a mentor/leadership position. However, the bible says that leaders are to be edified by the body also. The bible says to be careful not let pride cause you to sin.

My point is that when I asked Ms. Juanita for help on the issues. Her response was in part right. In contrast, in another part she missed the mark and started gas lighting any form of speech where I used ANY form of assertion to express my side of the situation when I was confronted by the menacing irate man (who later became more menacing, in intimidation physically blocked the sidewalk which caused my family to flea him resulting in us moving into the road because he st chased us from the side walk in an intentional threatening manner). I have watched legal teaching programs and the court appointed judges give legal instructions as teachings. I was following the legal instruction of a court appointed judge/ teacher. Ms. Juanita was instructing me against the court appointed judge's teaching and instead she was gas lighting me with a stigma, based on the fact that I asked Ms.Juanita for help with a hang up that the terrifying situation just set off.

It is truly great hospitality to provide wonder faith teaching books. However, in the big picture people also need prayer, understanding, patience, sound guidance, and in my situation a lot of resources. The bible says that Christian's are to plead the cause of the orphans and windows. My understanding is that it includes the needy as well. Look at Lazerous outside the wealthy kings door begging for scraps. I was not a beggar but I did need help and resources. The bible says if your neighbor needs a coat, give him a coat. It says we are to wash each other's feet. Jesus gave this example of service as His food throughout the bible. It doesn't make since to simply give someone a book about how we need a coat instead of giving the coat. Books are so helpful in the right context but their are other forms of ministry in conjunction.... I needed additional resources . Instead, Ms. Juanita was gas lighting me. If you don't know that term google "gas lighting". We should be careful not to replace arbitrary criticism with fully relevant appropriately committed ministry.

At one point Ms. Juanita told me bluntly that it was not fair for the Dereck Prince ministry to give me a charity plane ticket to their office so I can receive laying of hands to heal me from sickness. In comparing yourself to Jesus, It was not fair for Jesus a sinless man to be whipped, beaten, mutilated beyond human recognition, and hung on a cross where he died for OUR sins, not His. I am not saying I ask the Serek Prince ministry for that....Jesys already did it and He is risen!!! I am just saying, it's about God's will not ours. The bible talks about charity and in Acts it talks about how the wealthy where instructed to sell their land to take care of the less fortunate in the church.....was that fair? It's not about fair, it's about grace, compassion, truth, humility, and doing God's will in other people's lives in relevance and honor. However, I dropped that topic and never brought it up again. I really felt at times, Ms. Juanita was saying certain things that where toxic and not from Jesus. No one is perfect. I did bring forth my complaints to the Derek Prince customer complaint line.

Derek Princ's ministry's response was to leave a derogatory red flag type message in their notes under my name. How I know this is because all forms of conversation are perfectly normal and healthy until I give them my full name so they can look me up on their computer. After finding my name, dramatically and suddenly, the customer service rep starts TALKING OVER me in a stern tone and continues unecessarilly talking over me and unecessarily loud in a way that insinuates that ANY FORM OF SPEECH from me is sinning. Even when I said, "Thank you" and "God bless you" and/ or any simple cordial calm sentence...the customer care ministry rep kept getting overly loud with a correctional officer type tone indicating that ANY form of speech was sinning. This is called a stigma and it's also slander and liable. This information being spread about me from stemming from one person, Ms. Juanita, titled prayer coach. Derek Prince Ministry's system probably intending good, but still false information is lying and false information is a lie from the pit of hell, as are all lies accidental, well intentioned or not. It effect on the recipient, is that it's also very abusive, demeaning, and toxic to treat as anyone as though just about any for of communication in speech including,"Thank you" and "God bless you" and/ or a simple cordial sentence as feedback is sinning. This sounds a lot like brainwashing and gas lighting a person out of a sinful attitude toward controlling someone with a seemingly unfavorable situation.

We should all be carefull not to misuse our leadership titles. We don't want to abuse anyone even with our good intentions. These are Derek Prince's own teachings. We should not only be hearers of the word, but does of the word for everyone. No one should be marginalized, stigmatized, slandered, spoken falsely about robbed of dignity, robbed of opportunity, ect....We should also be mindful to be careful of how stigmatizing anyone can cause us to hurt them, rob them of something, even by accident ect... I forgive everyone involved. However, I felt my complaints fell on deaf ears in their leadership and instead D.P. leadership turned the blame on me. Pride is a sin and leadership should be careful not to be so proud that they are arrogant misjudging and even harming someone that simply came to them innocently for help. I hope this review is taken as constructive criticism and NOT treated as though I am automatically the problem. Everyone deserves respect. God bless
