Mission: DBSA Albuquerque is a member run and recovery driven organization. We offer support, education and work opportunities to consumers of mental health services. This pioneer chapter of the national organization, Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, was founded by an Albuquerque consumer and incorporated in 1988 as the Depressive and Manic Depressive Association of Albuquerque. We work to reduce the societal stigma associated with depressive and bipolar disorders, the most prevalent mental illnesses.
