Colorado Connect Youth Organization is a 501c3 grass-roots organization Est. 2013, comprised of four independent club basketball organizations (Denver Hooperz, Colorado Truth, Big Frame and Rim Rockers). Colorado Connect's mission is to assist inner-city-at-risk youth to become good Student/Athletes through the vehicle of sport.
Colorado Connect has over Century’s worth of coaching knowledge and experience on staff. Our players will
compete in the best local and national tournaments and leagues to gain exposure from all different levels
of collegiate athletic programs. Our students understand the principles of being a good student,
productive citizen in the community and a hard working athlete.
Colorado Connect has a mandatory GPA of 2.5 or proficient reporting and grading periods, that’s monitored on a weekly basis and completion of grading periods through our progress reports.
Colorado Connect is partnered with undergraduate students at Denver University and Metro State for tutoring and mentorship in subject areas that is a challenge for our participants. This service is free of charge. Colorado Connect participants will be required to volunteer time and assistance with organizational functions: Feeding the homeless, Assisting in community events, Habitat for humanity and Fundraising Events.
