Mission: The denver children's advocacy center's mission is to: prevent abuse, strengthen families and restore childhood. Programs: Child and adolescent assessment and treatment program - provides assessment and treatment counseling services for children ages 2-17 who have been sexually abused or who have been traumatized by witnessing violence.

The program is unique in bringing together teachers, parents and children to work on three levels of prevention. Additionally, the access to health insurance with the state of colorado. A bilingual care manager assists english and spanish speaking children and famiies apply for insurance and obtain temporary, immediate coverage while their applications are being processed.
