Jane, the Board for DBSC, and all of their volunteers do an amazing job providing direct services to people experiencing homelessness in Denton. DBSC fills in the gaps left by other service providers. I know when I donate money, goods & volunteer hours to DBSC, they go quickly & directly to the people needing help.
DBSC also has the BEST plan for a tiny home village that would meet an incredible need for people who don't fit the model of our local emergency shelter.
For these reasons (and more!), DBSC is an excellent group to trust with your charity dollars & volunteer time.
