Very bad foster experience , I was Givin a sick dog that the volunteer kept saying was a bevavior ,he has issues digesting his feed.he has been bounced around because he has running poop.returned by a family because of this too,asked to leave boarding over the same issues.instead of addressing this issues time and time again he was just labeled bevavior .
The dog is not a behavior with housebreaking he has issues digesting feed . The volunteer just told me he needs house breaking . Realizing he us perfectly house broken but rather having digestion issues white colored poop, knowing what this is I asked he be tested for enzyme defiencies not being able to break feed down .he is skinny ,came dirty and stinky, has a stiff back leg ,a pressure sore on his hip and a bad spot of fur . And agressive .I had to argue to get him to see a vet .and I was very concerned about the agressive . I mentioned as long as he was in their care why hadn't the issues been adressed. So he could have had his home and not bounced around . I called their vet to let them know so that could be addressed . Was told I could vet him and they would pay by the volunteer but come the time she said I could not .being 2 hours away how was going to get vetied to get this solved..I sent him back because my hands were tied ,I had their sick dog and could not vet him .I of course was not happy asking why hasn't he been vetted and trained being in your care so long .and now being agressive .very sad experience and I'm concerned for the dog .
