Mission: To provide opportunities to area musicians and composers in the performance of chamber, orchestral and operatic repertoire, and to enhance the experiences of those musicians by providing an interface with a broad range of musicians in concert and workshop environments.
Programs: In 2013, we produced our annual "narrowsburg music day," featuring 3 music events and an historic walking tour. The evening "music of our time" concert presented the world premiere of a composition by a local composer, kevin vertrees. All events took place in narrowsburg, new york, population ca. 700. The daytime open-air concert presented the joe piela quartet, and the late night jazz jam at a local restaurant included bob keller, a renowned saxophonist. In 2013, we also completed our multi-year recording project, robert degaetano's piano concerto and chopin piano concerto. This project is supported by a grant from the christian a. Johnson endeavor foundation.

All events took place in narrowsburg, new york, population ca. 700. The music events were an open air concert by allen brothers blues band, a concert performance of "green sneakers" by ricky ian gordon (appearing in 2013 at lincoln center by unrelated producer), and a late night jazz jam at a local restaurant. The majority of our expenses went to our recording project, robert degaetano's piano concerto and chopin piano concerto, conducted by our stable conductor, john yaffé. This project is supported by a grant from the christian a. Johnson endeavor foundation.
