Mission: Delaware Guidance Services exists to provide quality therapeutic services to children, youth, and their families to increase their social, emotional, and behavioral wellness.
Results: DGS does not turn a child away because of an inability to pay and is one of the only organizations in the state safeguarding the mental health of children in the lower income demographic. Over 80% of the children served receive Medicaid and approximately 90% have household incomes under $30,000. Despite the inherent challenges in serving this population, outcome studies consistently show DGS rating higher than the national average in treatment success.
