Causes: International, National Security
Mission: To provide a forum for discussion and dissemination of defense related information in the acquisition community.
Programs: Insight day: the purpose/goal is to provide acquisition insight to the acquisition community, many of which are members of our local chapter, and at the same time provide an outreach opportunity for the chapter to recruit new members into the chapter. Many notable department of defense acquisition officials attend and either make presentations or act as panel members for subjects of critical interest to the acquisition workforce. This symposium is an excellent opportunity for our members to gain current insight into the changes in policy and implementation guidance from the policy makers themselves.
