As a volunteer and board member, I have personally witnessed and participated in the phenomenal benefits that are obtained through equine assisted learning (EAL) and equine assisted psychotherapy (EAP) as well as other forms of self-learning using horses. The member "affiliate ranches" provide various venues for the activities that are sponsored through the DayStar Ranch Inc. teams.
Whether the services are for military veterans and their families, women and young people dealing with traumatic experiences in their lives, or couples learning how to communicate more effectively in their relationships, the programs that have been offered through DayStar Ranch have been positively received and dramatically effective in helping the participants who were present during the sessions.
The dedication of the volunteers and the sacrifices of the board members have been huge over the past few years and this young organization begins to get it's bearing on a bright new stage of development where it can expand it's services to more individuals and groups.
I am looking forward toward seeing this nascent organization grow and fulfill it's mission to the highest degrees.
