Super friendly in the beginning, but showed their true colors in a heart beat!!! Even brought my dog back to me the very next day saying she was “destructive” bc the foster parent left her in a room by herself in the dark the first night she was there. Then, the foster parent rubbed it in my face the next day when she brought my dog back, about me possibly having to take them to an animal shelter knowing I didn’t want to put my dogs in this position to begin with. I thought rescues were to supposed to helpful! Not judgmental!!
This rescue may be very quick to help but also very quick to judge and extremely SPITEFUL, giving up on a dog clearly in need.

I fostered 2 puppies for this rescue. They came to me with poop caked on to their paws from the diarrhea/ very loose stools they had been walking in in their tiny crate. One developed blood in its poop after 1-2 days. I was told the pups needed longer deworming treatment and was asked to return them. Several days later I picked them back up and was given 3 syringes of different meds and told to give until all gone. I was expected to give the exact dose to a moving puppy which is ridiculous. Try to give just 1cc out of a 10cc syringe without going over. The pups continued to have loose stools but no blood. 3 days later the girl stopped eating, still had diarrhea and started getting weak. I notified the rescue and said i was going to take her to a vet at my expense because I was worried she had an obstruction or at a toxic leaf. I was told to bring them back and not to ho to a vet. I did and when i started to hand the sick pup to the rescuer I was told to “put her in the crate”. A few days later she asked me to come get the boy. I wasnt far but she told me I needed to wait until later in the day so she could give him a bath. I told her i was on my way and she said he had a bath and was out on her porch in a crate. It was cool that evening so i was shocked he was outside. It was almost 8 and she still hadnt fed him. I had to pick up dog food at the pet store after i got him because she kept the bag she initially gave me. Btw- her instructions for feeding the 6-8 week old pups “They eat twice a day. They dont eat much.” Pups that young should really be eating 3-4 times a day. When we got home the boy was so hyper. I suspect its because they were always in the small cat cage. They barely had room to move in it and if they had to go to the bathroom they cried until they couldnt wait then pooped on their sibling. At least thats what they did the 1st day i had them when i transported them home. About 3 days after getting the boy she text saying the girl was ready for pickup. I drove back and picked her up. I saw 4 big dog crates in the garage with dogs in them. No water bowls hanging. I suspect the dogs spend most of their day in the plastic crates. When i got home with the girl she still had loose stools but was eating. She hadnt grown any but her brother had so she hadnt been eating well for long. Things were going well until 3 days later she stopped eating again. I was able to feed her very small amounts. Sometimes she’d vomit her food, others she’d hold it down. I never told the rescue because i hated to see her go back and stay in the crate. It took a few days but she started eating again. The dogs were doing great with mine. The rescue asked for pics so she could post them. A week or so later she text me telling me the pups had appts to get fixed 36hrs later and asked if i could get them there. She then said they would leave 2 days after that. I inquired about keeping them so they could stay together but she had applications for adoptions. She needed to check their references but otherwise she people for them. The day before they got fixed (tuesday) they chewed up and ate part of a magnetic vent cover. I told the rescue but they werent concerned. I told them again the next morning (wednesday) when i dropped them off to be fixed. I wanted the vet to be aware but i wasnt allowed to deal with the staff. The rescuer just said not to worry it would pass. I picked them up later that afternoon. They were in so much pain. The boy cried the whole way home. I stopped to see if he was crying because he needed to go to the bathroom. He went but continued to cry. On Thursday they were both so bloated with their rib cages expanded more than i’d ever seen. He started passing loose stools but it took her until late thursday night or early friday to go. She was having problems peeing all at once also. I notified the rescue about the stools and problems urinating but she told me it was normal. My vet tech friend said its not normal. I also told her they were trying to sleep standing up because their bellies hurt and inquired if they’d have a bed in the crate because wednesday they just had newspaper. She assured me they’d have bedding. Friday morning the pups continues to poop loose stools. The rubber magnet pieces never passed. The girl developed full blown diarrhea and kept pooping right before we had to leave to deliver them to the transport van. I told her husband when we arrived, he didnt care. He just loaded them and said thanks. I handed him the leftover food i had divided for the pups and told him i wanted then to get it so their GI tract wouldnt get more upset. Im sure he kept them and the letters that were inside for the new owners telling them about their new pups, what they liked and warned them of their eating habits (they eat anything on the ground). They wouldnt tell me where the pups were going but said they were getting off at one if the 1st stops. The bedding I was assured they’d have for the comfy ride was cedar wood chips which I’m sure felt great on their 2 day old incisions. I texted both rescuers on Saturday (they left friday at noon) and asked if the pups arrived safely and if they took pictures. My kids went with me almost everytime we drove to and from the rescuers house (35-40 min eachway) and saw how cold the rescuers were. We spent almost a month raising those pups so they could sell them for $550 each and now that i wont take another set of pups she’s done with me. I would not recommend this rescue. They take strays or pups from overwhelmed people, get them fixed at the low cost places after they get a deposit then immediately ship them off. They dont wait to make sure the dogs are okay. They’ve turned into a dog shipping company and care as much about the dogs as Amazon cares about your packages. I did complain to the adoption site they use because they were posting as if they were from those areas. She since changed her postings to add transport infront of the location. I also saw they transported a cocker to NY that had been found in my city but I never saw any postings of them looking for the owner. They never looked for the owners of the pups i had either. They are doing a service for dogs in SC because our laws suck but their morals have gone down hill. They are strictly foster based (Thank God) yet annually claim over $20k in boarding fees. Their other write offs are shady as well.
