I was introduced to this amazing foundation a few years ago and was immediately impressed with the level of contribution to its only philanthropy, Shriners Hospital for Children. Since then, I have been privileged to be involved with Daughters of the Nile Foundation on many levels. Whether I was a volunteer, working to raise money in an event, or a private donor, supporting with my charitable giving, I saw firsthand the enormous impact these donations make in improving the lives of children who receive treatment through the Shriners Hospital system. As a new foundation board member, I am seeing a bigger picture, focusing on not only what is contributed but which hospital benefits with money for the latest advances in equipment and/or services.
Working with this foundation in all aspects has been very rewarding for me and I am proud to actively participate. I would highly recommend this foundation to everyone as a very worthy cause because we help make a difference in the life of a child!
I have been a member for over 30 years. Most of my adult life I have known about, supported and been a member of this organization who helps support the work that Shriners Hospitals for Children do every day for children.
I have seen first hand the members working so hard to raise funds to benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children. They believe in their cause, and are willing to volunteer many days to help the children. They give parties for the patients, purchase equipment for the hospitals, provide funds for the hospitals, just to name a few.
