Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Children & Youth, Protestant, Religion, Youth Development - Religious Leadership

Mission: To be a campus ministry for young women focused on bringing glory to God through the making of disciples by bringing those separated from God to a reconciled relationship with Him through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, modeling lives motivated by the Gospel as we live obediently to Jesus as our Lord, and equipping young believers to be leaders for the purpose of the Gospel.

Results: Since our inception in 2006, we have seen over 200 teenage girls come through our leadership and theological development program. Each of these girls have actively gone out into their communities to serve as missionaries on their public school campuses for the duration of one year where they employed the tools imparted to them by the mentors at DOLLS Headquarters. Within the campus ministries that each of these 200 officers maintained, the gospel has consistently gone forth year after year and we have seen well over 900 members benefit directly from the discipleship of these leaders.

Target demographics: Daughters of our Living Lord & Savior ("DOLLS") is an inter-denominational Christian ministry for teenage girls available on middle & high school campuses throughout North Texas. We are a student-initiated and student- led organization who seeks to introduce our peers to the saving grace offered through Jesus Christ. We represent a revolution of young women of faith who refuse to sit idly buy as those around us perish.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Dolls has 7 active chapters in 4 different school districts. Each chapter plans social and evangelistic events. In addition, dolls host several different events designed to further the ministry of dolls and the preaching of the gospel.

Geographic areas served: Dallas, Texas

I had the pleasure of sitting in on a session a couple months that gave the teen girls a safe environment with their leader discussing hard topics in this age. They were taught from the Bible, as well as listened to a testimony of faith. I so wished I had this opportunity growing up, and pray my daughters will be able to join one day. What a blessing this ministry is to young ladies.

DOLLS is honestly the best thing that ever happened to me. Just everything that had to do with it gave me complete joy. The people, the work, it was all for God and that's how it should be. DOLLS helped me in a time of struggle and I wouldn't be where I am today without that organization.

DOLLS provides such a safe and encouraging atmosphere to grow and develop faith! It establishes a fun community of girls with the same great love and desire to serve the Lord! It has many opportunities to lead and step up to follow Christ!

I have had the pleasure of being a volunteer for this organization and can't say enough great things about it. Ever since I heard about DOLLS I have always said, "I wish there had been something like this when I was that age!" I see a huge need for this ministry in every school.

My daughter had a friend that was in DOLLS when she was in middle school. She highly recommended that my daughter join when she got to middle school. So my daughter joined and was in for six years and was a ambassador for two years and till helping with some activities for the girls.

I was a member of this group for 2 years before becoming president of the chapter at my school. The leaders have nothing in mind but thinking of how to help strengthen their girls all across the area and teach them how to help be an example and lead others to Christ. The girls who run each chapter are taught many valuable life lessons and have unique experiences that they will always remember and cherish. The women who work at DOLLS Headquarters were such a great example to me of what it means to truly be a woman of God. They spend countless hours working behind the scenes, praying, and helping organize new events and chapters. I know that DOLLS really helped save me when I was going through a bad time, and the experiences I had both as a member and a president were truly remarkable. This group has truly been a blessing both to me, and to my school.
