I had the great fortune of helping out at Daniel's Music Foundation's 2011 Spring Concert. Run by the wonderful Trush family, this music school accomplishes what only few can imagine. Their talented teachers are imparting their great knowledge to students with all kinds of disabilities, the blind, autistic and mentally challenged. A task that takes great patience and altruism, the staff clearly stimulates the artistic talents of the students here. All for free! It's a really great place if you love music and to volunteer! At the concert rehearsal I went to, there were too many volunteers, but I do look forward to working there more often to help out on any regular day, not just for the big show-stopping performances!
