My experiences volunteering for Dallas Junior Forum are some of my most cherished memories. The faces of smiling children with their new school backpacks... the gentle touch of an elderly woman thanking me for my visits... the smiles of homeless families moving into a fully furnished apartment, Very special moments thanks to my very special organization, DJF!

DJF is a wonderful organization because not only did it help me find ways to serve local people with immediate needs but it has been a pleasure building friendships with other like minded women.

Joining Dallas Junior Forum as a volunteer has been such a pleasure! Our organization, guided by our caring and compassion for those in need, serves a wide variety of individuals in our community. From children facing life-altering illnesses, to families and individuals finding themselves in difficult life situations, to the elderly, Dallas Junior Forum volunteers serve their community with their full heart and soul. The warm hugs, thankful smiles, and kind words of thanks we have received from our clients tells us that what we are doing truly makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. It is a privilege to belong to such a caring-driven organization!

This organization provides a great way for women to meet new friends and service our community. I have been working with our organizations to help clients find new jobs. I had one client who had worked as a convenient store clerk for 11 years and had been layed off in a company take over. We helped him with a resume, online applications and he found a new position. He came back and gave me a hug for my help. It is very rewarding and there are multiple examples of appreciative people.

Every dollar donated to Dallas Junior Forum goes to needy children, families and senior citizens. DJF has no paid staff, unlike most Dallas charities, and that is important to me.
