Causes: Philanthropy, Private Independent Foundations
Mission: The Mavs Foundation is dedicated to building a stronger community by empowering youth, women and families who need us most through financial support, advocacy and service. Each year, the Board of Trustees selects 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations for $25,000 grants to support program costs for programs that assist children, women and families in need, as well as builds basketball courts and Reading & Learning Centers for nonprofit and community organizations.
Results: Over the last 21 years, the Mavs Foundation has granted more than $4 million to nonprofits serving youth, women and families and built more than 36 safe Learn & Play spaces across North Texas.
