Dallas Margarita Society dba Dallas Children’s Charities (DMS/DCC) is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation formed in 1977 when a group of Dallas businessmen decided to host a holiday party. That signature event, the Annual Dallas Margarita Ball, has grown into the largest, invitation-only, charity black tie gala in the world with over 12,000 guests attending. A literal mountain of joy accumulates at the event each year, as guests gladly respond to the organization’s request to drop off a donated toy upon entry to the Ball or sponsor gifts with cash donations. Through gifts of toys, computers, school supplies, and services, the impact DMS/DCC has on regional children's charities exceeds a million dollars per year. November 22, 2014 will mark our 38th Annual Dallas Margarita Ball and this year, we hope to match or exceed our results from prior years. We’re proud that our charitable outreach has continued to grow every single year, even through challenging economic times. In 2013, we were blessed with supporters that donated over 10,000 toys and more than $250,000 in cash to sustain our efforts in helping less fortunate children in the DFW area. Our beneficiaries report that the gifts provided by DMS/DCC positively touch the lives of more 150,000 North Texas youngsters each and every year. Everyone involved with us “owns” these remarkable numbers just as much as we do. We just couldn’t do it without all that support and we encourage you to join the fun!

Mission: The dallas margarita society raises money in an effort to support the many local children's charities in the north texas community.
Programs: Dallas margarita society (dms) collected and distributed toys valued at $78,750 to disadvantaged kids attending the love for kids christmas party. The party, having over 3,000 underprivileged kids, is by invitation only and groups are invited through local recreation centers, schools, and other agencies from a master list that has been accumulated over many years. Children between the ages of 6-12 enjoy a day of entertainment, horseback riding, outdoor games, hay rides, bubble bounce, carnival games, food and prizes. The remaining toys valued at $311,564 were distributed to various other organizations dedicated to helping underpriviledged children in texas.
