Mission: The purpose of the society is to institute and encourage historical inquiry, to collect, preserve and exhibit the materials of history and to spread historical information, especially concerning the city of dallas, texas; the county of dallas, texas; and the state of texas.
Programs: Produced exhibits and educational programs including lectures, author talks and tours and provided research and library resources which enabled the public to explore and learn about the history of the city and county of dallas, the state of texas, adn the southwestern united states.
