Dallas DogRRR goes up and beyond they stop at nothing to save a dog. They also work with adopters and people in the community. Their outreach program is amazing they work to help owners keep their dogs if they care not afford medical care. They also work on changing the legislation process and educating cities on the laws.
I started volunteering for Dallas DogRRR in February 2021 and I can't say enough about this group of wonderful people and pups. I have had the privilege of fostering puppies, pulled from local animal shelters, helped with medical transport, and currently fostering my first medical puppy. I have learned so much from the lead teams who provide so much guidance and will help cheer lead on the hardest days. This rescue steps up takes dogs (and cats) when no one else will. In some cases knowing the medical expenses will be high or to even help them cross the rainbow bridge so that they are not alone. I have been volunteering since 2013 but this group is my home. ❤
We LOVE DDRRR in our household! I searched for rescues to foster for, and ran into some who either never responded or said they would call and never did. When I applied to foster for DDRRR, I had my first foster chosen that same day! When I had questions or needed assistance, the team was amazing! Great support system and an all around amazing support system.
I proud to have fostered 7 pups, adopt one, and continue fostering in the future. They truly do everything they can to save these dogs. I can confirm that on first hand with 2 parvo puppies and another pup who needed attention for a torn nail. Their team is amazing. And, if you don't foster, their foster communication Facebook group is also open to adopters so you have full transparency and EVERYONE (foster + adopters) can ask questions, post photos, show updates, etc. Great, great community.
We adopted our dog from a rescue in Washington state. She came from Louisiana (surrendered by owner). Dallas Dog rrr took her in, cared for her, and transferred her to a rescue in Washington, where she had a better chance of finding a home with some of her challenges. They had a great relationship with a local humane society and the people who worked there.
I can’t say enough good things about a rescue willing to burst to the seams to save as many lives as possible. They have an amazing core of fosters, and you have to love an organization willing to reach out to rescues in other states to help pets find homes.
There were a lot of chances that our dog Dulcie would not be sleeping with her head on a toy in my living room right now. Dallas Dog rrr saved her life.
There have been great success stories but then there’s the stories you don’t hear about. The many dogs in boarding not having a life much better than what they started with. All the while the organization continues to bring MANY more dogs up from South Texas. Why would that happen if we can’t take care of the ones already in the rescue?
I have seen first hand the dogs and families lives change because of Dallas DogRRR. I currently have 2 foster puppies in my house from them and they are the sweetest babies that probably would not have made it if it wasn’t for this organization. They are all hard working kind hearted people that just want to do everything and anything they can to not only save a life but to also enrich it. Thank you to them for all they do!
I have adopted one dog, and am currently fostering another from this organization. Everyone I have worked with has been absolutely fantastic!
The dog's care has been the top priority and no expense has been spared to ensure that their medical needs are met. The adoption fee is more than justified.
I will continue work with Dallas Dog RRR and highly recommend them if you are looking for a pet.
Absolutely amazing rescue that saves so many dogs & cats. They use resources of transportation to get dogs to more adoptable areas in America.
I don't feel this nonprofit met our expectations of professionalism. We had a video interview to see if we were a match for a pet, and after submitting an application and expressing interest, we heard absolutely nothing back. It's just common courtesy to reply back to multiple e-mails requesting feedback or next steps, but I guess courtesy is not part of this organization's agenda. Definitely would not recommend, unless you enjoy wasting your time.
