Mission: Casa volunteers advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children under the protective care of the state, so that they can grow up in safe permanent homes where they can thrive.
Programs: Dallas casa trains and supervises community volunteers who gatherinformation and make recommendations that help judges decide thebest possible outcomes for children who have been removed fromunsafe homes and are living in protective care. Over 4,300abused and neglected children are in protective care each year indallas county. In 2017, dallas casa served 3,118 children with 1,314 assigned volunteers and an aggregate of 672,601 total days of service to children. Dallas casa trained and supervised these volunteers with a total staff of 77 at year-end.
