Mission: Job training for disabled and socioeconomically disadvantaged persons
Programs: Community based employment services: the purpose is to provide community based employment programs and services to disabled persons and to persons with other social barriers to employment. 3,058 persons were provided these services during the tax year. Cw employs people through custodial, landscaping, commissary services, delivery services and other contracts with federal and state governments and local towns.
elderly nutrition services: cw provides services to over 7,424 people per year. Most services include food preparation and delivery of meals (meals on wheels). Cw also provides meals to senior cafÉ sites and adult day care centers. Most revenues are generated by state and federal contracts.
sheltered employment: community work services - the purpose is to assist disabled individuals (clients), through training in a real production environment, the skills required for them to go on to competitive employment. Cw assists 245 clients.
