I've been volunteering with Current Initiatives and hosting Laundry Projects for 8 years now, and it has been such a rewarding and impactful experience. I have seen the direct impact this project has on the community, and it never ceases to amaze me how something as simple as clean laundry can bring hope and dignity to families in need.
Through these events, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people, hearing their stories, and witnessing firsthand how acts of kindness can make a lasting difference. Current Initiatives has created a space where volunteers and community members can come together to uplift one another, and I’m grateful to be a part of it. The organization is truly dedicated to making a tangible difference, and I look forward to continuing to volunteer with them for years to come.
