Causes: Mental Health, Residential Mental Health Treatment
Mission: Provide long-term residential services to persons having medically diagnosed disabilities attributable to mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism, or epilepsy.
Programs: The organization operates five homes for the purpose of providing group home living for developmentally disabled persons in the greater fayetteville, north carolina area. Our program provides a family atmosphere in which each resident can participate as an active member of a household. Individualized programs are designed to maximize skills in personal care, community survival, leisure time activities, and interpersonal relationships. All of our homes are designed and built specifically to meet the needs of the developmentally disabled. Staff at each home are available to residents 24 hours a day. Working to ensure a pleasant family atmosphere, staff interact with residents as a group and individually to enhance and improve their lives through education, training, and positive support.
