Programs: The mso marketing co-op functions as a subsidiary of ctam and facilitates large-scale cooperative marketing projects for cable company members. Projects in 2017 included the cable mover hotline/ivr, direct and new mover direct mail programs, national change of address program, digital marketing, online offline targeting, mover communications, cross program initiatives, confirmed mover leads, email marketing, channel partners, b2b portal, and industry positioning.
ctam's business councils, comprised of 16 cable companies and 48 programmer and supplier dues paying members serve to facilitate collaboration and information sharing among members through industry councils including advanced video, business services, insights & analytics, content providers, communications steering, mover marketing, and marketing & sales.
as a major benefit to the cable network members, ctam organizes the cable portion of the winter and summer television critics tours. Twice a year, cable and online networks are invited to showcase new programming for television writers and critics and to promote the quality and variety of cable programming.
