The Crossroads Kids Club is truly making a difference, shining a light of positive change for students, families, and the whole school community. In its welcoming and supportive atmosphere, kids are not only growing spiritually but also developing as individuals with a renewed sense of purpose and kindness. Families are seeing more meaningful spiritual conversations at home, and the school as a whole is embracing a greater sense of empathy and teamwork. This program beautifully showcases how faith can inspire and uplift, leaving a lasting impact and bringing everyone closer together.

I was so blessed by volunteering at crossroads kids club each week. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to show the love of Jesus to the children at our local elementary school. They had the opportunity to learn something new and be reminded of God’s love and the Lord revealed new things to me in the process and showed his love to me as well!

last year was my first year at Crossroads Kids Club so I didn't know what to expect. what a blessing it was to watch children get excited about the things of God. they had fun and they learned about salvation through Jesus Christ and how to grow. it definitely exceeded my expectations. I am so very excited about returning this year to see how the returning children have grown and to see more come to know Christ. We actually had 1 child that had never heard about Jesus. So humbled to be a part of this wonderful ministry.

I had the privilege of volunteering for Crossroads at the school I work at. We were one of the first to start in Central Florida. It was great to be a part of pouring into the lives of our students who wanted to know God and have a relationship with Him. Word of the program quickly spread and we soon had more staff assist and students join. Crossroads has been a positive outlet for our students who want to talk about God and share of His goodness. They were comfortable and enjoyed the many activities. Sara Palla did a wonderful job of coordinating and helping to get the club going. I am excited that we were approved for another year. There have been students who have already asked if the club is going to continue. My prayer is that these children will remember what they learned at Crossroads and continue to follow Jesus and make disciples of others. Thank you Crossroads!

Our children’s church leader recruited a group of women and men to start this program. With various gifts and talents we got together to share Jesus with the children at an elementary school. While I was nervous that I would be effective it turned out to be awesome! This group of teachers have also formed a bond of Christian fellowship that is exemplary and a God given delightful gift.

Crossroads has been a great tool for our church to use to get connected with one of our local elementarty schools. Each week when we walk through the doors of the school we are greated with smiles from the staff and students alike. If a church is looking for an opportunity to share the gospel in the school then Crossroads is a great organization to have with you.

I have known Crossroads both as a volunteer and donor for the last 12 years. The work being done with kids who otherwise are often not connected into healthy adult relationships is amazing! I have seen the impact on some kids who have now grown into young adults and I can see how their lives have been positively impacted through this non-profit ministry. Kids are finding out that they have a Creator who made them and has a good plan for their lives. They are being shown a good roadmap for life through the Word of God and many children are being shown a new way of seeing life and purpose.

Additionally, this organization is committed to transparency, particularly in its financial dealings, giving donors confidence that their contributions are being used effectively. Integrity is at the heart of their work, and this trustworthiness is evident in every aspect of their operations. This is truly a model organization transforming lives with integrity and purpose.

As a donor, I am extremely impressed with how effectively Crossroads uses Donor Funds. The team is careful to maximize its funds toward effective ministry and minimize its overheard/administrative costs. This ministry's outreach has grown exponentially over the past 10 years in its goals to teach school age children about Jesus' love for them.

Crossroads does an amazing job reaching children in the public schools with the love of Christ.

I have been a supporter (financially and prayerfully) for many years and also belong to a church that has been supporting them for nearly 25 years. The staff are very knowledgable and great at communicating the mission and vision of Crossroads on a regular basis.

You can tell there is a culture of excellence, trustworthiness (good stewardship of their resources) and hard work among the staff. It shows in the fruit of the ministry over the years.

I am proud to be called a partner of Crossroads Kids Club.

I first heard about Crossroads through a voicemail left on our church answering machine. I attended a lunch meeting at Panera to find out more information and was blown away! I had no idea this kind of ministry was possible in public schools! At the same time I heard about Crossroads my wife was transitioning out of being an elementary school teacher. Having grown frustrated with systemic problems in education during COVID she was ready to leave her job but didn't want to abandon the children and community she had spent 12 years serving. Crossroads provided her and our church the opportunity to continue ministering to the kids. We are now beginning our 3rd year with Crossroads and my wife serves part time on their staff helping to expand the program to other churches and schools in our region!

I have been to and learned about many clubs but by far the crossroads club is a great asset to have in any school, community or part of your church. It teaches respect, love and responsibilities of being a good person. The kids feel an unconditional care from a simple message and curriculum for the level that is understood by each age. Keeping the love of Jesus simple and without a religious obligation but a relationship they can build on and seek.

We were introduced to Crossroads Kids Club several years ago. Their model, meeting kids in schools, was completely disrupted by COVID. But instead of becoming a victim of the circumstances, they completely shifted their model to meet kids virtually to let them know the love of Jesus transcends in person connection. This ministry is well managed, organized, and committed to fulfilling its mission of spreading the gospel to children both domestically and internationally.

My husband and I have been adult volunteers in children’s and student’s ministry for almost 20 years. In that time, with rampant access to digital technology and personal cell phone availability, there has been both positive and negative effects on this next generation. While the world is at our fingertips and information is easily accessible, many children are lonely, overwhelmed and struggling in many areas of their life.

We were first made aware of Crossroads Kids Club prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea of local churches sending trained and equipped adult leaders to connect with, and care for children in the schools, in their community, while also teaching the principles of Jesus’ love for them was something we felt called to support.

Then COVID-19 hit and schools were shut down and “stay safe at home” became the fix. Crossroads Kids Club quickly came up with a plan to intentionally connect their local adult volunteers to the children in their group via the Internet. They assisted leaders in getting connected and provided content for fun and interactional online gatherings. Relationships and the truth of Jesus’ love for children continued at a time when they needed it the most.

Slowly as things went back to normal, schools were still limiting people into the school setting as a precaution. Many adult group leaders were encouraged by the Crossroads Kids Club staff to find other ways to gather their small groups. Some groups met in homes and others used parks and picnic shelters. In that time of uncertainty, some groups had parents join in and families were welcome to participate and through that, they became connected to a local church in their community.

CrossRoads Kids Club is laser focused on its mission. It adapts and changes to meet the needs of those children and families they serve so opportunities for true life change continues to happen in a way that brings glory to God. We feel blessed to contribute to and support this organization.

Crossroads has been a great organization to volunteer for! This August, we went on a retreat so that they could teach us how to run one of our own clubs in a school that we will be leading, sponsored by our church, and they did an amazing job preparing us with everything we needed to know on how to get it started. The whole retreat was super organized, and they made it enjoyable too! Since then, I have been working on starting the club with everything I learned from the retreat, and the people from Crossroads have been very helpful whenever I contact them with questions, or if I need help doing something. I’ve been affiliated with Crossroads for many years. The leaders have a heart and passion to share the gospel with children. They mobilize, train, and assist churches in providing faith based after school kids clubs in their very own communities. Building relationships is key. This model of outreach benefits and strengthens relationships within schools, churches, and families. The kids attending gain positive experiences. The curriculum is fun and engaging, and there’s always someone to pray with them. Crossroads is always seeking to find and offer club opportunities everywhere but they especially seek the most vulnerable children, in cities and even to those around the world. Any investment in this organization will be lasting and eternal.

Impacting communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ is a passion and priority, as we serve in the Burnside region. As a pastor and community leader we prayerfully find opportunities and resources that would be beneficial to the residents in which we serve. Crossroads Kids Clubs has been one of those opportunities and resources that has become a blessing to our church. Crossroads affords us the opportunity to become engaged with local elementary school students, parents and teachers that we have not otherwise crossed paths.

Crossroads Kids Club is an exciting, inspiring and refreshing time for kids around the country to find hope for their generation. It is a time where they are in a safe space and friendly environment to learn the word of God. It has been a phenomenal way to attract children of all races creeds and colors to embrace the wonders of the bible through children friendly curriculum that is designed to give hope and joy.

Jackie and I have ministered to children in NASCAR, South Africa, and in Affordable Housing Neighborhoods for 31 years. We have always desired to be able to do so in Public Schools were the witness of the Gospel can penetrate hearts of the children and impact the whole families of those who participate, and thus the whole school. Crossroad Kids Club does just that! And it does it through a program and curriculum that is fun and focused for 90 minutes following the dismissal of the children right there on their school campus. There age-specific small groups tailors the experience to small groups where each child is given opportunity to engage and respond to a Christ Centered weekly program. Plus, the well-trained volunteers from local churches embrace the families needs and offer them a church family if they do not have one. Crossroads Kids Club does all Jackie and I have sought to do for 31 years--much better than we ever did ourselves. We love this ministry. You will too! Try it!

Cumulative adverse childhood experiences have a massive impact on future adult behaviors. However, this can be remediated through positive supports and positive buffers. Crossroads has definitely been a huge buffer for me. I am sure for hundreds of students this is the case! I attended from 2004-2007. Over 15 years ago and I can still say that Crossroads positively shaped my childhood!
It is an extremely thoughtful organization run by men and women who want to make a difference. It is also super fun for kids! It celebrates diversity, being one of the first places I learned a lot about the history of systematic racism. During a service trip with Crossroads to Jackson, Mississippi, I had the unforgettable experience of learning from civil rights leader, Pastor John Perkins.
A wonderful non-profit!

After attending training in August 2021, our church is on track to successfully launch a kids club in a local elementary school eight weeks later. The Crossroads staff provided clear instructions for gaining access to the campus, helped with flyers to promote the club, assisted with online registration tools, provided materials for recruiting and training volunteers, and coaches to troubleshoot any obstacles. The commitment of Crossroads to go to spaces where children are and share about Jesus is clear in every step of the process. What will happen when a child is at a crossroads in life? How will they decide which road to take - the road that Jesus would have taken or a worldly road? I have been a volunteer leader for Crossroads Kids Club (CKC) for three years. I never realized how much kids need faith in their lives, to help them build good character, gain confidence and be prepared to make good decisions when they go out into the world on their own one day. CKC volunteers go where the kids are, in the public schools and bring the gospel to them in a way that is fun and memorable, so that when they are at that crossroads, they will take the right road!

As a Pastor, I am always looking for effective ways to reach out to our children and families in our community. Crossroads Kids Club has been an answer to our prayers! This program is a great way to reach our neighborhood kids in their public school with God's love and make an eternal impact in their lives. It also gives us an opportunity to meet and connect with their families.

Sharing bible stories, crafts, game time and snacks for 1 hour and a half every week brings hope to these children's hearts because they now know that there is someone who cares enough to tell them and show them that God loves them and that He has a great plan for their lives. The most rewarding part is that I can "see" the positive changes in these children.

There is nothing more satisfying than to know that you are part of a great ministry that "helped" a child become a "better version" of who God created them to be. As a church, we are called to go into all the world and share the gospel...what better way than to start with the children in your own local public school!

The staff help bridge a local church community with our school community, fostering strong, supportive relationships. We feel very fortunate to have Crossroads Kids Club at our school and are exciting about the continued growth and potential to reach more students.

They do a great job of bringing the message of Jesus into the public schools in a way that makes it easy for the kids to relate. They show them great love and bring a sense of community to the kids. A great mix of fun and learning.

I volunteered and worked at Crossroads Kids Club in 2008 and 2009. The leadership is extremely organized and communicative and the club is a safe place for kids to play, have fun, and learn about Jesus and the Bible.

As a former board member and club leader I have seen this ministry from many different angles. A great way to describe Crossroads is to say they are smart. Their strategy, their financial plan, staffing and most importantly their relationships. This ministry will be around for a long time!

Parkwood is connect with Crossroad. They understand our students needs and support that goes beyond the classroom structure. They create opportunities and engage students, teachers, and families. They are a great example of family and community relationships.

Having the blessed opportunity to build relationships with energetic boys and to disciple them in their walk with the Lord, has been rewarding, exhausting, and a joy!

I have just connected with Crossroads this year but have been so impressed with the program. It is very well organized but not so regimented that individual needs are overlooked. I feel blessed to be partnering with this program to help children find and follow Jesus.

This is such an incredible chance to share kindness and hope with children who come from impoverished and often forgotten communities. The volunteers are genuinely invested in these precious children and work to create an atmosphere of love and acceptance. The kids are so excited to be in Crossroads and are always disappointed when it is time to go home.

Excellent way to get kids involved in God. I volunteer Gregory elementary school on Thursdays, and I have really loved helping these kids find Jesus or even just follow him better in their own lives. One little boy had never opened a bible until he was in my small group and now we have became the the very best of friends. I cannot wait to see crossroads kids change more lives.

It is so true that we never know what the next day will bring. One day I was sitting in church listening our pastor talk about opportunities to serve in the community. Crossroads Kids Club (CKC), a free after-school faith-based club for elementary school children, was featured and I decided to learn more. I am now in my second year serving and feel so blessed to have the opportunity to share the Good News with the children in the under-served areas in our community. Our program has grown from three to over 50 kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade registered, and more kids want to join each week.

Save for those in Christian schools, most children in the United States build a foundation void of faith unless that faith is taught and lived at home. The CKC program, using the Bible as a base, allows children in public schools to learn positive life skills such as honesty, respect for parents, making wise choices and being trustworthy through the lessons we teach, while having a great time doing crafts and activities and playing games that reinforce the lessons.

Although we are there only one day per week during the school year, I have witnessed the powerful impact of this program on the children in the school we serve. The kids love the program so much, many have asked if they can have CKC every day after school! Two of our kids were even inspired to do an impromptu performance they came up with all on their own. They changed the lyrics to a popular song (Watch Me, Whip/Nae Nae) to make the song about Crossroads and danced while singing in front of all the other kids. Most recently, after teaching the kids about the importance of doing God's work, the kids made snack bags containing the same snack they are served, to take to a Homeless Shelter just a block away from their school. Some of these kids go without and to see them involved in helping those in even greater need in their own community is a testament to the powerful impact this program has in the communities it serves.

I believe the CKC Program is worthy of great recognition and should be honored for their commitment to helping children understand that they are special because God made them and for encouraging them to have hope in their future. The founders had a vision and the leaders in the program are living examples of answering God's call to service.

The reach of Crossroads continues growing beyond the local community. School leaders appreciate the help they receive from the volunteers that come weekly to spread love and care to many kids who get very little at home. Being able to share God's truths with them has been a blessing for all of us.

lets face it...School IS Pressure. especially grade school, where so many negative influences can come from so many sources. Thank-goodness for CROSSROADS, where kids can be kids, while learning of the love of God. Hopefully, these kids will realize, more fully, how precious and important they are. Steve Zoller.

Crossroads Kids Club is an organization that cares deeply about children. Everything within the club is designed to benefit and support the children that attend. From fun games, to relevant stories that teach them how to navigate the challenges that children are faced with daily. At these clubs they have a place to feel safe, loved, and are encouraged to believe that they can achieve their dreams. I have loved the privilege of being able to be a part of the children's lives at Crossroads Kids Club. The training and support that I have received from the Crossroads leadership has been so beneficial to me as a volunteer. If you are looking for a way to make a tangible difference in children's lives, I would highly recommend becoming a volunteer with this amazing organization!

I've had the privilege of volunteering with Crossroads for the past year and could not be more pleased with the contribution the program is making in the lives of our participants. They're growing spiritually, emotionally and physically. The program is providing them with an outlet to learn and grow and making a difference for the future generations of our society.

I have been volunteering with this group for about a year. It is great way to get kids involved in with Christ. My husband and I really enjoy the curriculum. It can be applied to a range of ages. SO we are not talking over the younger kids or below the older. It has been a very rewarding year of volunteer work.

1st Class! If you have an interest in reaching your community, Crossroads Kids Club is it! Every church should be involved in our public schools and Crossroads equips you to do just that. Last Monday we had 90 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders in our club learning about what it really means to follow Jesus. It is awesome!

Our church, Faith Community UCC ofBensenville, wanted to reach out in support to the families of Bensenville but were having trouble engaging them. We heard of CKC, worked with Matt Armatrong, and were excited to start a club. Now we are meeting with 3rd - 5th graders weekly and experiencing God's joy through our relationships. What an answer to our prayers!

Our new Crossroads for kids club began 3 weeks ago. As a volunteer I was offered training, which I did participate in. Our club is very well supported with materials to use and ideas for each weekly session. We are spreading the good words of Jesus Christ to all who want to hear and learn. This is a wonderful opportunity for elementary school students to learn about the love of God after school, but in school. I am thrilled to be able to be a part of this noble endeavor. The students are relaxed and happy and ready to discuss their daily lives and how they can live as Christians, which can only make their lives and community better.

Crossroads is an answer to prayer. Our church was looking for a way to impact our immediate neighborhood with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Crossroads has provided us with the scaffolding to do weekly after school Bible clubs in the public school right down the street from us. Crossroads provides the training, curriculum, support, and covers the majority of the expenses. This is a win/win for us, and is helping us fulfill our part of the Great Commission.

My husband and I just moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where he is pastoring a church that meets in a hotel owned by Wayside Christian Mission. One of the ministries it provides is to house families who need a home or are recovering from an addiction. Those families have children. It is those children we seek to serve on a Tuesday evening through Crossroads Kid's Club. These kids celebrate when they are about to move into a "real home", while others have been there for a year or more. For an adult, this would be hard. For a child, it's a burden that is more than they can handle. When the kids come in the chapel area to join us, they are excited that people have come to be with them. They listen to the a Bible stories, and as a question pops up, their little personalities start to ooze out! The child who introduced himself two weeks before as "I'm mad and my brothers are people I just want to hit," was this week the child asking,"Who is God? Where did He come from?"
Thank you to Crossroads for the truth so easily spoken to "the little ones" and to us!

This is my first year volunteering to serve Christ thru Crossroads Kids Club at Parkwood Elementary School in Hanover Park, IL and I am amazed at the quality of training and attention to details that CKC is providing. I attended a Team Leaders Training on Aug 27 and their 2015 Fall Conference on Aug 28 and received excellent tools, support, and training to equip us to deliver the Gospel to kids in a fun and educational manner. Can't wait to get started reaching kids with Christ in their public school this 2015-16 school year.

This is now my third year heading up a Kids Club. This is such a phenomenal opportunity for us to reach out into our local school and to share the good news of Jesus Christ at the same time. Every church should look into a partnership like Crossroads.

I have been involved in CKC for about 7 years and have always loved the training, support and insight they provide to us when working with our club. The tools and resources are excellent, the staff team is very involved and helpful and the experience is awesome. Each school year, one of the highlights of my week every week is seeing the kids at my club and getting to be a part of their lives. Sometimes it feels like a big time commitment, but it always proves to be SO WORTH IT. If you're considering starting a club or volunteering with your church, just do it. The kids will give you so much more than you ever give them.
