Programs: "evangelism, discipleship and training: i. Missionary mobilization & training 1. Src trained 123 pastors, missionaries and church lay leaders in asia and 16 in the usa in disciple making movement principles (church planting multiplication). Additional training was provided in south asia in the area of christian leadership and discipleship. 2. Src worked with a network of house churches in east asia to develop a missions conference that was took placed in august 2017. Over 1,200 chinese attended and 300 made commitments to serve in global missions as missionaries in the future. Src also provided 70 participants with training in how to serve as a missionary with a secular job. 3. Src recruited two long-term units to serve with src. One unit is a family of 7 serving with src full-time in east asia. The other unit is an individual serving with src full-time in south asia. 4. Src facilitated 6 short-term mission teams and 1 semester team. 1 short- term team served to south asia, 5 short-term teams served to east asia and the semester team served in east asia. Ii. Evangelism and church planting 1. Over 100 people in east asia heard the gospel through personal one on one evangelism and through english camps. 2. One discovery bible study group was established in east asia. 3. Three discovery bible studies were established in the usa. (dbs groups is the first step in planting new churches in the future) iii. Missions education 1. Src took part in church mission conferences, speaking at churches and universities, casting vision with pastors and small group settings to cast the vision for src, disciple making movements and the gospel deprived. 2. Src launched stevesilkroad. Com as an avenue for src president to discuss issues related with finishing the great commission task. 3. Src co-sponsors missions talk (missionstalk. Org) as an online platform to discuss great commission related issues through online video content. 4. Src developed and produced our core disciple making movement training manual (church planting training) and a booklet called "presence of legitimacy in missions" to empower christians to serve more effectively within global missions.
