I was a former donor to this organization until I learned how their funds were being spent. This is not a "Ministry" and the services they provide are not "Free". Each patient has to pay a copayment, even for prescriptions. These fees for service accounted for 11% of their total annual revenue. Their Faith Based Community donations were only 7%. This may explain how they were able to afford the consecutive DOUBLE DIGIT salary increases for the Medical and Executive Directors the past 2 years. They also claim "We receives NO direct federal funding" and "We are solely dependent upon the generosity of philanthropic minded supporters". I discovered they DO receive Federal Funding in excess of $200,000. I would recommend to anyone who is considering donating to this charity to thoroughly examine and compare their last 3 years of 990 filings for all the inconsistencies.
