You can always be sure that your heartfelt donation to Cross Catholic Outreach will go precisely to the project designated and will go a longer way than anticipated, because they always partner efficiently with local missions, schools, hospitals, etc. onsite, to help stretch your donation so as to assure maximum effect. I consistently receive a full project prospectus for new, urgent projects, as well as updates on their progress. Kudos to Jim Cavnar and Michele Sagarino for the sterling work they do in governing this worldwide charitable effort in education, nutrition, health, water, housing, small business, and emergency relief response. God bless you all and all my fellow charitable givers in all you do for the greater glory of God! - James in Sacramento

I want to help those who are helping others. Saint Mother Theresa said, “Be the change you want to see.” God has blesses me, I want to share His gift.

This was my first time and it was an amazing feeling to feel the energy and love in the room. Such a wide age range, enjoying giving back and knowing they were feeding families they would never meet and volunteering because of their faith and beliefs.

Had a food packing event at our church last weekend and it was an OUTSTANDING experience. Had TOO MANY volunteers at one time who wanted to sign up…when does that happen…but everyone who wanted to help was able to. This was very needed by our parish and community to help us see beyond ourselves and give of our time, talent, and treasure. Erika is a rockstar and we will definitely do this again!

Our parish recently hosted a food packing event. We had over 200 volunteers and so many of them commented about how smoothly everything ran that morning and they hoped this would become an annual event at our parish! We love that they welcome families including the children. Cross Catholic Outreach made this so easy. Kudos to a great team!!

I just wanted to leave a onetime donation, but you don't let the user choose that. It has to be a MONTHLY donation or not at all! That's not right for someone who wants to pay online. I would hope that you would change & have the option for a slot for 1-time doners in the future.

Hi - Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We want to assure you this is absolutely NOT intentional nor by design. One-time donations are absolutely welcome, & our impact wouldn't be what it is without that support. If you're willing - would you please reach out to us at donorcare@crosscatholic.org? We would like to know more about your experience - what webpage you were on - so we can fix this immediately. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention!

Somebody wrote above: "I personally believe that there director, Jim Cavnar is the prototypical Nobel Peace Prize winner. He has taken this organization to a higher level of spirituality and mission."

It appear so. But in reality he routinely looks the other way. The man is checked out. His employees are horribly abused by the incompetent senior staff he put in place and when they have gone to him he never did anything. He is not and has never been a true leader. Not of staff. Maybe of the bucks coming in from the DNA of being wrapped up with the Catholic churches. Meanwhile, he running off to solve poverty elsewhere. Looks to me like his compassion is compartmentalized, which means his morals is lacking, no? This organization with him at the top, looking the other way, has broken the hearts of many. Look deeper.

Cross International Catholic is a toxic work environment that is responsible for a high exodus at the organization. Those who stay just do so so they can work from home. It goes back to leadership style (as in - there is no leadership) and a pattern of abusive behavior. So-called leaders, almost all of whom are incompetent, are imposter leaders, lack self-awareness, and seem willing to lie, gaslight, manipulate, throw people under the bus to serve their narrative, and only care about their self-image alone. They are dangerous and cowardly and should not be allowed to be in charge of a Christian organization.

Cross Catholic’s work is following Jesus steps, with 95% of my money going to the poor people, I feel good donating. The priest who visits talks about seeing the children and the conditions they live and how we can help with even a dollar. A dollar can feed a family and 100 dollars can feed a village.

Cross Catholic accompanied a group through a service related trip to a very remote area in Belize. They lead us 3 years in a row until we could make our own connections.
They co-ordinated everything, and did an amazing job!! Even a little R&R.
The leaders were amazing—I saw the face of Jesus through them!

These people are crooks. Stay away. The commit fraud in payments and then engage in cover ups.

I have been a supporter of Cross Catholic for about ten years. They have been 100% accountable for every donation I have made and the projects they are involved in are truly benefiting the poorest of the poor.
I have also worked directly with Cross Catholic on their Youth v Hunger program. We have conducted 5 packing events, involving over 700 teens and packed approximately 500,000 meals.

CCO is one of the best nonprofits I’ve had the pleasure of participating in learning about. The why and how is steeped in their dedication of doing Gods work as well as attention to the donor. The donor has many unique opportunities to learn more, get more involved through mission trip opportunities, or hear personal stories of the impact of their donations. No one else does that!

A truly mission driven group- to serve the poorest of the poor. A palpable sincerity, love and passion that everyone I have encountered at Cross Catholic exudes. From Donor to Missionary to each individual in need, I pray that every non profit be modeled by and after their example - as they are visibly guided by His Grace.

The Cross Catholic Outreach model is exceptionally responsive and they are dedicated to helping other Catholic organizations succeed. I represent US 501(c)(3) that works with Cross Catholic Outreach to set up and sustain schools feeding programs throughout Haiti. Last year, we were made aware of a need at St. Joseph in Gonaives and Immaculate Conception in St. Marc. We made a request that these 2 Catholic schools get needed food for their lunch program. Within weeks, the school in Gonaives had all they needed for the year and 4 weeks later the school in St. Marc received all they needed. Because of their relationships, I am able to feed a starving kid In a school for only $.04. We love the fact that Rodney is there as boots on the ground and he does an exceptional job making sure everything is done efficiently.

We feel great about our partnership with Cross Catholic Outreach because they are responsive. I also feel like they listen and handle the details very well. I personally believe that there director, Jim Cavnar is the prototypical Nobel Peace Prize winner. He has taken this organization to a higher level of spirituality and mission.

We are going to increase our investment with Cross Catholic Outreach again this year because we love what they do and because it allows us to be very effective.

The picture attached is of St. Joseph school. Last year when I visited, their food supply was insecure. When I return this year, the kids looked much better and were more attentive and fun-loving. Cross Catholic Outreach is accomplishing their goals and helping me accomplish my goals.

One last thing… I like these people! They are fun hard-working and honest and I enjoy being around them.

We have been working with CCO for a few years now providing metal panels for roofing for shelter repair and new homes for the poor. Making roofing panels is what we do everyday, getting them to third would countries that need them is not. When I wanted to start donating to places that need this type of materials, CCO gave us the infrastructure to get these materials from our door to the people in those countries who most need them. It started with sending material to Haiti after the hurricane and has continued to material going to El Salvador and then Guatemala after the volcano there.
The auditing that CCO provides us has been nothing short of critical for us to see the results of what we are doing and makes us want to continue to do more. Most people who donate to charity want to know that what they give goes to it's intended purpose, and that is especially import for us because of the volume of materials being sent. Having the follow up documentation showing us where our materials go and the people that they help is the biggest reason we choose to work with CCO on an ongoing basis. Then, follow that up with working with people who truly care about the people they serve makes CCO our first choice for this work we do in Jesus name.

We have been the recipient of several partnership grant requests from Cross Catholic Outreach. With each request, we receive a thorough application with a well organized financing and project implementation plan. Once a request has been approved and the funds sent to Cross Catholic Outreach, they perform an excellent job of due diligence. A detailed final report is sent to us in a very timely fashion. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with Cross Catholic Outreach.

This organization has been the most simple and straightforward in their mission; to help the poorest of the poor. There are prayer requests available as one makes out a contribution that shows their work is grounded in prayer. The stories of children living in poverty and starvation are moving and keep the focus on helping those truly in need while the reports on how they use the donations directly for food and not paperwork have made donating to them for the past few years a good cause.

I have been a small donor over the years and receive regular documenation of my donations for tax records. In addition I receive feedback on what my money has done, specifically. It is wonderful to know that one of my donations directly resulted in making the difference whether a child would be able to walk, or not. The detailed and timely information provided me reflects the integrity and focused mission of this charity. I am more confident sending funds to Cross Outreach than any other charity I have supported. I will continue to recommend this charity as number one, and continue to help in my small way. Thanks.
