Mission: The Crispus Attucks Association of York, Pennsylvania is a comprehensive non-profit entity that provides education services, human services, community development, and affordable housing that enhance the quality of life for a diverse population.
Target demographics: We believe in helping individuals thrive and not just survive. We assist those we serve in finding their inner strength and discovering their inherent purpose. We empower and equip them to seek the unlimited possibilities their future holds. Together, we give rise to possible.
Direct beneficiaries per year: We served 148 children in our Early Learning Center and 100% transitioned to Kindergarten; provided quality, low-income housing for 112 families; served 196 children, 5-18, in our Rising STARS afterschool program, 285 youth, adults and seniors received employment and training services; our Active Living Center served 142 seniors
Geographic areas served: We work in the greater York area and beyond.
Programs: We help individuals and families to LEARN, WORK, and THRIVE through our Early Learning Center, Crispus Attucks Charter School, Goodridge Freedom Center and Underground Railroad Museum, Employment and Training Center, Active Living Center, Housing and Community Development, and Rising STARS.
