Crisis Aid is an extraordinary non profit! They do exactly what they say they do and thengo above and beyond. Feeding the starving and malnourished. Providing clean water to those who draw out of a mud hole. Saving women from being abused sexually with no hope of ever getting out!!! They use every dime to it's utmost benefit for those truly in need.I am humbled and honored to be able to be apart of Crisis Aid International.Debra Mills
Crisis Aid International is a high-integrity organization that has transformed thousands of lives around the globe. I had the privilege of traveling to East Africa with the founder and some of his team. It was humbling and inspiring and they're absolutely making a lasting difference. Every dollar counts and is channeled into action vs. overhead. Please consider making a donation and you'll truly be making a difference. #RefuseToDoNothing
I am not sure, but I think that I have been the longest participating member of this charity org. I have gone through some rough times, myself, but I have tried to overlook the immediate problem and see this through. I sponsored a child and she graduated and now I am sponsoring a second who will soon graduate too. I know that this org keeps vulnerable girls out of trouble. I volunteered to help in a food pantry in Saint Louis, MO for a while, and because of that, I have personally met Pat and Sue and also their key staff person.. Jennifer. These are people are committed, and have determination and integrity. This is the best use of my charitable donations, no doubt - no factual report needed.
I know the people who founded this organization- Pat and Sue Bradley. They're authentic... a breath of fresh air for their commitment and heart. Thanks guys!
I have known Pat and Sue for many years, since they started ICA. I have witnessed some of the wonderful things they have accomplished for children and young women who were desperate and even close to dying. Their personal dedication is something not seen very often in today's world.
I am very lucky to have gotten to know them
Fiscally responsible and committed to providing for young women in need around the world. Very trustworthy.
I cannot say enough good things about Crisis Aid and the impact Monarch Jewelry, who is partnered with them, contributes to the ongoing fight to stop sex trafficking. I donate to Crisis Aid monthly and I volunteer through Monarch Jewelry, making unique hand made jewelry, in which 100% profit helps to fund the refuge house that is a temporary home to victims who are rescued from sex-trafficking. This Christian nonprofit is the answer to many prayers from people asking for help in various areas of their lives. I only wish I knew about this nonprofit organization earlier, so I could have donated/volunteered longer. God is surely working through them to make our world better.
I witness Crisis Aid doing great works both locally and globally. Their efforts not only rescue people from an undesirable life today, but they also teach those people how to change their lives through education and training.
I volunteer and donate as much as I can.
Sue & Pat Bradley are the most selfless people I have ever known. Their dedication to the community, both near and abroad continues to amaze me. God bless both of them!
I am newly retired and found I had a little too much time on my hands. I saw Monarch Jewelry on a FaceBook page and started following along. I have always prayed for God to fill me with the Holy Spirit and to help me find a place where I can make a difference. God answered my prayers and I followed up on my FB page by joining the volunteers at Faith Church. After learning about Crisis Aid I knew I needed to be part of this friendly Godly group. As one woman in the group explained that there is a need for each and every one of us to share our abilities, she used quite a large rock as an example explaining that even that rock has a job within the organization....as she placed it on the floor to hold the door open in in order to bring in all the supplies.....that made me smile.
Crisis Aid International saves lives. Whether it's a sex slave or a starving child, Crisis Aid makes a difference. I am a proud partner with this organization because they DO make a difference.
I just started volunteering my time to work with the women of Monarch Jewelry. They are a great group of ladies and are very welcoming to us newcombers. It is a blessing to be associated with this great ministry!
This amazing organization is an inspiration to so many! The staff is dedicated, caring and selfless. They are truly committed to helping those in need. They are amazing stewards of resources donated to them and innovative in coming up with ways to stretch a dollar. They are truly making this world a better place.
Crisis Aid is probably the most amazing nonprofit I have gotten to know, and I believe the Lord is using the organization to accomplish his will in Ethiopia. I visited Ethiopia with a group of donors and Crisis Aid's founder, Pat Bradley, in June 2018 and was blown away by the breadth and effectiveness of ministries they operate in the country. More importantly, we heard countless firsthand stories about the impact Crisis Aid is making, saving lives, giving hope, and spreading the gospel. There is almost no overhead to the organization at all - and a dollar goes extremely far in the country. I am excited to continue donating, and helping Crisis Aid raise money through my network so this work can continue for years to come.
I had the honor to spend a week with the founder of Crisis Aid International in East Africa to experience first hand all the work they have been doing over there for 15 years now. I was blown away at the breadth of their organization and the huge positive impact that they are making in the lives of the local people. I can personally validate that every dollar given to Crisis Aid towards one of their projects is either literally saving a life or changing someone's life forever. This organization is going into areas of East Africa where there are no other organizations providing aid. The best way I can describe it is that they're going into the heart of darkness and shining a light of hope so that these wonderful people can start dreaming instead of just surviving. It's beautiful. It's a privilege for me to be supporting this organization. - Lance Karnan
The gentleman who started and runs Crisis Aid attends my church. We've held multiple fundraisers for the organization, and Pat has spoken at church multiple times. He and all involved are people of integrity and honesty. I have nothing but respect for them.
I was a member of a medical mission team in remote Ethiopia that partnered with International Crisis Aid (ICA) for a week. I saw and experienced first hand the incredible humanitarian work this organization consistently does with overwhelming, loving care. Witnessing the personal" hands on" approach that Pat Bradley (CEO and founder) tirelessly demonstrated on a daily basis was heart warming. Pat worked relentlessly, side by side with us, as we treated many hundreds of patients each day. He identified countless malnourished children that he immediately enrolled in the family feeding program that his organization administers. We met several girls that were rescued by ICA from the sex slave trade. These girls had graduated from high school and were now being vocationally trained. ICA is a far superior non-profit, humanitarian organization .Fiscally responsible and sound. ONE OF THE BEST!!
We have witnessed personally the lives that were touched and changed by this non-profit. From starving children, to villages with filthy water, to sex trafficking of children, ICA extended resources that were both life-saving and life affirming. Their work has created clear pathways for people in several countries to build a new life.
I have been on 3 trips to Ease Africa with International Crisis Aid and was amazed at the work we were able to accomplish. Pat Bradley shared his testimony and vision with the group each year and his heart for the people of not only Africa but all over the world touched my heart. I have supported this organization since then because I want to be a part of such a great work meeting people's needs and setting them free from bondage through Jesus Christ, whether poverty or slavery. This organization strives to be fiscally responsible, keeping administrative costs at a bare minimum while caring for thousands of people in desperate conditions.
I have had 3 opportunities to partner with ICA providing medical care in East Africa. The poverty level is astounding but the ability to enter starving children and their families into a feeding program was a tangible solution to a very real problem. Those too malnourished to eat were taken to the new pediatric hospital that ICA built in partnership with JMM.
I also attended the graduation of women rescued from a life of prostitution. The hope and pride shown by these beautiful women as they spoke of the skills they had acquired and the jobs they were taking warmed my heart! ICA is building a home that will enable them to offer help to even more girls.
We get monthly updates. Of ongoing work. Representatives call at least twice a year to see if we need any information about the work they are doing.
Crisis Aid is top notch. I know the founder and the staff personally, and you couldn’t ask for a better group of people. This organization helps the helpless and expects nothing in return. I know that my donations are being put to good use and every dollar is maximized to its fullest potential.
The small staff are the kindest people with the largest hearts for others. They help people in need locally and all the way around the world!
I have been working with Crisis Aid by way of Monarch jewelry for many years, so I have been able to get to know this amazing team of people. When you walk in the doors of this small office with a small staff, you are always greeted with a smile and a hug! I am constantly amazed at the positive, life changing impact on the world this small organization with a big heart has. The fact that the FBI went to Crisis Aid to open a safe home in St Louis says it all. Their love and compassion for people is so evident in all they do. They are true servants and carry the love and the word of Christ wherever they go.
Crisis international works in the U.S. and abroad. Their stories about helping to stop human trafficking really touched my heart. It's nice to know my donation is going to the cause.
A representative from the Refuge Home came to our church and told us what they have been doing right here in our neighborhood to rescue girls from trafficking. They are also offering shelter, aid and hope in crisis situations world wide.
I had the privilege to work with Sue and Pat Bradley as a nurse in Ethiopia for several medical trips they hosted. They have the biggest heart's, and they show the love God had for all of the people all over the world. They feed the poor and hungry and rescue women from of life of prostitution to try to support themselves.
We have been with this Group on many trips to East Africa and seen first hand how they spend our money. They. Squeeze every penny. This is a great organization to help with. Looking forward to many more experiences with ICA. So much need in East Africa very dollar makes a difference in lives. They are also in US doing a great work here also. Please pray about giving to them, they are awesome.
My wife and I have been affiliated with Crisis Aid since inception. I have traveled to two locations where aid is being provided. The use of donations to this organization have direct oversight. I know of no other organization where our donations will have a bigger impact on lives that are in crisis. That is why we continue to stay affiliated with this organization.
We personally know two board members and know that their life style emulates their oversight of this organization. Without reservation we recommend Crisis Aid International.
Attached is a picture I can't forget. These are the shoes of orphans that survived the 2010 Haiti earth quake. Their shoes are drying in the sun after the filth of the earthquake was washed from them. Many other orphans did not survive the earthquake. I have witnessed Crisis Aid providing help to the helpless in areas that larger organizations cannot reach.
Dave and Gaye Bennett, Houston Texas
My first interaction with Crisis Aid was in 2009. I had a friend who had spent the summer of 2008 photographing children for the Crisis Aid sponsorship program. The photos told a story of how Crisis Aid traveled all over East Africa to help families. After viewing the photos I had to learn more about what they were doing. In 2009, my husband and I made our first trip to East Africa with Crisis Aid. It was life changing. I had been to 3rd world countries before, never had I observed the level of desperation that was present in East Africa. The Crisis Aid team never thought or ALLOWED us to believe it was just too much. They see starvation they will do what it takes to bring substance. They stare at death and say not one more child to simple curable disease. They see young hopeless women trapped in sex trafficking and make Safe Homes and Trade schools so they find hope. I am also humbled to have served along side many of the staff of Crisis Aid. This is an NGO that works. No one including the CEO sits in a high rise office collecting millions. If I donate $1.00, I know at least .85 goes to actual programs. I fully believe in what Crisis Aid is doing. I have seen with my own eyes how they make a difference.
Be the Light
IN 2014 My husband and I made our 6th trip to East Africa with International Crisis Aid. We have been able to see the difference that their programs make. The children we sponsor through ICA are growing physically, spiritually and are doing great in their classes in school. The girls in the ICA sponsored Orphanage are happy, healthy and are growing up to be strong women who will serve their country well. I can't say enough about the girls, some very young, that have been rescued out of the sex trade. Both in other countries and in our own USA. Because of ICA, these girls have a safe home, where they are not beaten, abused, and used for the sick purposes of others. Without ICA, these young girls would still be out on the street, trying just to stay alive. I appreciate that ICA puts all their information on their website. If you want to know how much ICA spends for administration expenses, go to their website, You will be amazed that they do so much and yet the cost is so little. You won't find million dollar salaries at this NGO! International Crisis Aid is the real deal. They love, they go, they give. If you have an opportunity to help International Crisis Aid, please do so. The dollars you donate today will make a difference in the lives of so many tomorrow.
I have seen the inner-workings of this great organization having spent time in the headquarters office in St. Louis with the staff. The motto of "saving lives, saving souls, and changing futures" is truly lived out amongst the staff, and the organization is well run and dollars go straight to the people that need it most! Also having traveled to East Africa to see some of the ministry in action myself, going into some of the hardest to reach places, I found and spoke with people whose lives truly have been changed, both physically and spiritually! What a blessing it is to partner with such a great organization.
It's been an honor to work with Crisis Aid and the people they serve. Serving the poorest of the poor in some of the most difficult places in the world, Crisis Aid brings them hope and treats them with the dignity they rarely see. This non profit is impacting the world in a unique and inspiring way. it is truly worthy of your partnership.
My church and I partner with Crisis Aid and are so impressed by their integrity, influence and reach. They are making a major difference in our city and world.
Crisis Aid International is a charity I started supporting as a monthly donor because I believe in their mission to save the lives of the starving children and families, as well as rescue women from a horrific life of the sex trade industry. Over the years I have been able to make a small contribution to their mission and have been able to see the great impact every small and large donation has on the lives of these impoverished people. I also believe Crisis Aid has a true heart to help these people and has been making significant headway on implementing plans to educate the people they are helping so eventually they will be able to help themselves. It is comforting to know the donations I've made are in fact helping people, saving lives and the people who work at Crisis Aid care about each person.
Every person matters, every donation helps and together we can all make a difference!
I had the opportunity to go to a Crisis Aid luncheon last year. We were watching a film on their outreach in Ethiopia, when I learned what the "red tape test" is. Crisis Aid has a red tape, they put around the bicep of the child. They can tell how emaciated the child is, by the circumference of the bicep. In some cases the children were in immediate danger of starving to death, because their little bodies had lost so much body mass. It was terrible to behold, these little kids starving to death. Needless to say, Pat Bradley, founder of Crisis Aid, immediately admitted to the hospital those kids in danger of starvation. This is a charity worth supporting!
I have worked with Pat and Sue Bradley at Crisis Aid International in a variety of capacities over the past 8 plus years...From helping organize and staff 5K fundraisers to designing brochures for a benefit concert to volunteering at their inner-city outreach in their after-school and feeding programs. I volunteer with CAI because I believe in their mission and their leadership. They do so much to help people around the world and in our community; it's just a great feeling to know that in some small way, I get to be part of all they do. When one gets the opportunity to meet a leader of such integrity and genuine humility, like Pat, you can't resist the urge to get behind him and support him in everything he does...Because at the end of the day, you know it's going to be an impactful, positive, life-changing project for somebody in dire need. It's going to be done right and it's going to be done well.
I have been involved with Crisis Aid international in one way or another for the last 15 years. The work that they do is simply amazing. They literally are the hands and feet of Jesus by reaching people that no one else will reach and giving people hope that before the interaction with Crisis Aid was living a life of hopelessness. I have watched first hand the compassion and love that they have for people all around the globe that are in desperate situations. Every staff member and volunteer that I have ever come across has a level of integrity and character that is second to none. Every event I have been apart of has been done with a level off excellence in a way that give glory and honor to God. This is organization that I cannot only contribute my time as a volunteer but also my finances knowing it will bring an eternal reward and will go towards helping people in meeting their greatest need.
I was introduced to Pat Bradley 20 years ago, and was impressed by his unfaltering integrity, passion for helping others, and heart as big as a double-decker bus. I helped support the Crisis Aid 5K Run and volunteered as a course marshal, where I met Pat's wife Sue. Needless to say, she is as remarkable as he is, and both of them demonstrate a love for humanity that is visible each and every time I am in their presence..
I was fortunate to attend a mission trip with Pat and Sue, along with other members of Crisis Aid to East Africa, where I saw the real fruits of their charitable labor and resources. Not only did they pour their heart and soul into helping save lives, they demonstrated a keen desire to insure every dollar donated to Crisis Aid was utilized as efficiently and effectively as possible to achieve their mission.
It was a life changing event for me, and my appreciation for the real positive impact on lives that Crisis Aid delivers, continues to grow.
I have been familiar with the work of the founders of Crisis Aid, Pat & Sue Bradley, for many years. I have always been immensely impressed with their devotion and sacrifice to those in need, and how they have transferred their personal commitments to an organization that reflects those same values.
In spring of 2017, I was blessed to accompany a small group to witness their efforts and results in East Africa. What an impact they have brought to so many whose lives they transformed and saved! Sex trafficking rescue, job training, basic education, orphanages, well water programs, pediatric hospital, feeding & nutrition programs....the list seems endless.
And their work includes some domestic programs as well as they have found others who have no other place to turn even in our country.
I have every confidence that every dollar I donate is directly helping those in need. And that the impact of that help is more than just keeping them alive, but allowing them to blossom and fulfill their purposes of their lives.
My husband and i have been volunteers and donors of Crisis Aid's for about 8 years. What drew us to this organization was not only the amazing work that is being done, but more the integrity and sincerity that the founders walked in. There are a lot of great orgs out there doing a lot of great things, but Crisis Aid and Pat and Sue Bradley stuck out the most with their level of excellence in all they did. They truly seek to serve people to the greatest ability and show the love of Jesus in a way that is inspiring and remarkable. With leaders like that we knew our money would best be served there. And the fruit shows for itself in the amount of lives touched and saved. We are thankful to be a part of it with them and serve others through volunteering and sowing financially. We are forever grateful to have found such an amazing organization.
I am a volunteer of Crisis Aid International and serve with a large group of ladies to make jewelry & gifts items for the Refuge home. I am always struck by the deep compassion and commitment all the staff possess in carrying out the mission. They go above & beyond to help people who "cannot help themselves". It's not all about the "almighty dollar" coming in, it's a very personal, well connected organization that is literally changing lives all over the world! I am grateful and humbled to serve such a outstanding and fruitful ministry who give all the credit and the glory to God!
The first time I stepped inside the front door of Crisis Aid's office as a volunteer, I could immediately feel and see the heart and soul of this amazing organization. The pictures on the wall literally brought me to tears and tugged at my heart. Pat and Sue Bradley, along with their dedicated staff, are truly walking out the work of Our Savior Jesus Christ. There are many aspects of how Crisis Aid is "helping the helpless" in our city and around the world. They are providing love and hope to those in need of what most of us take for granted. I feel blessed to have come in contact with this organization!
I first learned about sex trafficking through Crisis Aid International in 2009. They spoke to our youth group and actually built a replica of a street in Africa so we could get a real "feel" for life in the red light district. It broke my heart. Since then I have supported Crisis Aid monthly. I continue to watch God move and open doors for them to rescue and educate women who had no future before God sent them. Women who were rescued are now teaching other women about Jesus and helping them find a way to freedom!
I am amazed at how much Crisis Aid does with the money they receive. They are very open about their finances and God just seems to multiply the funds like He did the loaves and fishes. People are fed and receive medical help. Girls are rescued and given a new future.
I've spent time talking with Pat and Sue Bradley. They love Jesus and are giving their lives to the hurting. I am honored to be able to support them and the work they are doing both here and in Africa.
I had the incredible experience of going to Africa with International Crisis Aid...the trip has changed my life forever. I was impressed by the extent of their work! They were helping hundreds of girls in the red light district, they operate an orphanage, they do food distributions in remote areas, they sponsor individual children, they operate medical clinics and build wells. It was apparent that this organization has had a widespread impact on the country and an intimate impact on the lives of individuals. There is not a day that goes by where I do not think of the the trip. Its a true example of how individuals with passion and dedication can truly make an impact on the world.
Over the years I have interacted with different non-profits but my best and most rewarding experience has always been with Crisis Aid. I have seen Crisis Aid in action first hand as a volunteer and continue to be impressed with the compassion and regard for the individual with which the staff operates and executes their programs. As a donor I want my money to count towards what matters, saving and improving lives. Having interacted with the president and the staff I have the utmost confidence that every penny donated to the organization is carefully spent. And, more importantly, the organization expects (and can point to) specific results from their programs. A great organization to support!!!!
I am now into my second year "with" ICA first just as a donor and now as a volunteer. I live in Australia so the impact from this organisation is truly global. If you are looking to support an organisation with a big heart to help, the guts to do it and financial integrity this is the one.
As an occasional volunteer I have witnessed the many acts of kindness performed by all who work at CrisisAid. I am truly impressed with the work done here in St. Louis and the world. I've never met more dedicated workers. I am honored to call them friends. I am confident all donations are used wisely where the most good can be accomplished. May God continue to bless this ministry.
I've been involved with and supporting Crisis Aid International since 2002 and in all that time Pat Bradley and the Crisis Aid staff have shown an unfailing love for the hopeless and hurting and a truly relentless desire to 'save lives, save souls and change lives', even at great risk to their own. I've seen so many lives saved and changed for the better over the years and look forward to seeing many more transformed in the years to come. Not only is Crisis Aid International faithful to the mission, they are faithful stewards of the funding they receive; consistently using funds responsibly and where it can have the greatest impact. If you're looking for an organization that truly makes a real and lasting impact, both in the U.S. and abroad, you don't need to look any further than Crisis Aid International!
I have wholeheartedly supported ICA since 2002 and went on a medical mission with them in 2008. I was so moved by their work there I was inspired to write a book about it (Where There Is No Comfort: Seven Days in Ethiopia). They are making a real and lasting difference in the world by saving and transforming lives and bringing hope where there is none.
I have seen first hand the deep passion for their work, their unwavering commitment to helping those in need and the genuine integrity with which Crisis Aid International works. Pat Bradley and his team are people who love all people, period. They are the real deal and I'm honored to know such wonderful people with hearts to help others!
This is the only program that has been proven in my eyes to really help survivors. They have deep experience, compassion and knowledge. Most programs just buy a building, stick in staff and think that's all girls need and that's why they fail. Crisis aid does the job well
Crisis Aid is a wonderful organization, helping those locally and overseas. I have personally seen those being helped in Ethiopia by this organization. It is a wonderful program that our whole family loves being a part of.
It's amazing what GOD has done and is doing through Crisis Aid International. The staff is very caring and friendly, they always call us to thank you in person. They also let us know all the updates in their programs to help the helpless. May GOD continue to bless this ministry to spread the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST.
ICA is a remarkable organization with a heart for one; starving babies in Angatcha, Ethiopia. Taking them to a feeding center later to stabilization center and reviving both babies and mothers back to health physically and spiritualty. Also, in Addis Ababa .. ICA has orphanage for kids who lost their parents with HIV AIDS and rescue girls from sex trafficking and train and equip them to help themselves. I witnessed Pat Bradley the founder of ICA and his team doing a wonderful and notable job in Ethiopia; in all of these places I was privileged to visit while a was a volunteer a couple of months ago.
I have been acquainted with this organization for close to six years and I have nothing but great things to say about them. They have the highest integrity of any organization out there. Their purpose is to help those who can't help themselves and they do this with excellence! In my opinion this is a charity that you can contribute to knowing that the money you donated will be used with utmost care.
Crisis Aid is headed by Pat and Sue Bradley, leaders with sincere hearts and intentions that always follow through. They don't just rescue girls from human trafficking. They provide them with all they need to begin their lives again...from the basics--like food and shelter--to medical assistance and job training. The don't just feed people. They try to help them learn how to be self-sufficient. They dig into the roots of societal issues and they attack the very core of the problems. Crisis Aid and their small staff do more in a day than many others do in a lifetime. It's with complete confidence that I support this organization and get the occasional opportunity to serve alongside them. Pat and Sue are the most humble, beautiful people I have ever met and the very essence of who they are flows consistently throughout their organization.
I have known the founder Pat Bradley for many years and am familiar with his selfless dedication. I volunteered last year to be a part of this ministry. This is when I really saw how he and wife Sue give of themselves. I met the wonderful staff and many volunteers who make this ministry special. It is such a blessing to be a small part in what they do. I am confident my time and funds are given to a ministry which gives directly to those in most need. I am proud and thankful to count this wonderful group my friends. Nola Rigsby, St. Louis, MO
I started volunteering with ICA last summer. From the first time I met with Kay, responsible for donor relations, I knew I loved the organization.
In the fall of 2014 ICA began an after-school program in South St. Louis. I can honestly say volunteering at the after-school program each week was the highlight of my week! Each week, several children come to the program to read, sing, create art projects, practice roles for a drama, and share a meal together. The children are learning what it means to be a part of community and that each of them have great purpose and worth.
ICA truly has a heart for the communities they serve, whether they are in the St. Louis region or across the ocean in Ethiopia.
Not only does ICA have heart, they have integrity. The staff of ICA takes financial responsibility very seriously and their financials are always public. I can personally attest as a donor and volunteer, that your monthly donations will be used in the most responsible way possible to maximize aid for individuals in need.
I have great peace coming alongside them as a volunteer and donor to be a part of the work they’re doing. I love the important work ICA is doing at home and abroad!
Two precious hours, with two precious sponsor girls. We drove up and there they were. Waiting, waiting, just for us. Munria missed school in order to make the journey, and waited. Hana did make it to school but was there also waiting. I say girls, they were four years ago when my husband and I began their sponsorship. Now they are young women. They were so happy to see me. Lots of hugs, kisses, smiles and tears. They live with no electricity, no running water, no bed to sleep on and HIV parents who are very ill. Pretty dismal, yet they have HOPE. ICA has given them that HOPE. Because of the sponsorship program founded by ICA they have food, they are able to attend school with school supplies and uniforms. Our time together went by so quickly, however, because of ICA and the vision of one man, I will see them again in November. I can hardly wait!!! Thank you ICA for giving my husband and me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of two precious young ladies in Africa.
In 2014, I had the privilege of going on my 3rd mission trip to East Africa with Crisis Aid. Crisis Aid is one of the greatest non-profit organizations I have ever had the privilege of working with. Their heart for serving and ministering to people who are in the greatest need physically as well as spiritually is amazing to see. They go to the most remote areas imaginable and through God's hand, touch people who are at the brink of death and who have lost all hope. They bring hope! I have seen first hand the physical condition of many who were lifeless, be restored….to have food, water and a chance for life. The before and after photos you see are real. These are real people, real situations and a really great ministry, Crisis Aid, that utilizes every dime to meet the needs of people in such dire desperation. They Biblically meet the needs of the orphan, the widow, the sick, the hungry, the hopeless. I have seen first-hand the blessings God brings through this organization. I will continue to support this great non-profit financially as well as physically going to serve with them every opportunity I can. I pray others will do the same!
My family and I have had the blessed opportunity to sponsor two children through ICA for the past four years! Just seeing the amazing pictures each year of their progress both physically and spiritually has been tremendous! Last year, I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer with ICA on a mission trip to Ethiopia. I have had the opportunity to work with other mission based organizations, but ICA is top-notch! From leadership all the way down to boots on the ground, their administration of funds donated to help aid people who are starving and in need of being rescued from sex trafficking is amazing! First hand, I was able to help them in starting three new feeding clinics in completely devastating areas in Ethiopia near Kenya. I was overwhelmed at the need of the people, but amazed at what God did through the care of ICA and their volunteers for those people. ICA not only meets the physical/nutritional needs of thousands, they meet health needs and most importantly the spiritual needs of those masses. I will never forget the impact ICA had on those hundreds and ultimately thousands of people we were able to assist. I remember Pat Bradley gathering our team before we began the ground work on a new feeding clinic and telling us that the need was much greater than we could imagine and see, it was overwhelming, but he reminded us that we serve ALMIGHTY GOD and he asked us to stop and pray and truly believe that our GOD could take what little we had to give, bless it and multiply it. It was a true miracle that reminded me of the boy with the loaves and fishes. After returning home and being able to see updated pictures through ICA's website and Facebook, it was totally amazing to see the physical and emotional transformation of those people. Because of Pat Bradley and the rest of his team's total commitment to seeking GOD's guidance, wisdom and blessings first for the people they assist, GOD has blessed their ministry and has allowed them to reach and change the lives of multitudes. I will always be an advocate for ICA and what they are doing within the United States and in many nations abroad! I encourage anyone who is seeking to assist financially or personally through an organization that really DOES make a noticeable difference, they should choose ICA!
What's in a name? Everything when speaking of Love & Care, an arm of International Crisis Aid. Active in their South St. Louis neighborhood, staff and volunteers provide homework help, food pantry, hot meals, school supplies, VBS, Easter Egg hunt, and more in a loving, welcoming and Christ-centered atmosphere.
ICA has a heart for helping children locally and abroad. We have a Safe House here in St.Louis that is not only rescuing girls off the streets but also provides counseling so that they are supported making significant changes in their lives. Africa is where their devotion to feeding starving children is focused. The Bradley's have important relationships in this country that help them with food deliveries.
They truly live their lives reaching out to others -- how Blessed we are !
Crisis Aide changes the lives of people everyday all over the world. I feel confident that the money and time I give makes a large impact on the lives of the poor, hungry and abused.
I am very impressed by the high level of service and integrity of Crisis Aid International. Whether on the African continent providing medical care, feeding the starving, building clean water wells, and rescuing young girls from the horrors of sex trafficking, or reaching out to the kids of Saint Louis City, directors Pat & Sue Bradley have a heart of compassion to reach out to those in need. Crisis Aid International staff & volunteers are awesome and work hard to touch lives. Volunteering with Crisis Aid International has been a blessing!
I had never heard about Crisis Aid - Safe House for Girls prior to a friend inviting me to a Monarch jewelry show. At this time the speaker told how thru the Crisis Aid Safe House they have been able to help girls that have become involved in sex trafficking for various reasons. Some of these girls are as young as 13 and range up to 20+ years. Monarch jewelry is a group of women from various churches in the St. Louis area who meet twice a week to make jewelry and the total profit from sales is given to support the Safe House. All the women are volunteers. In the year that I have been involved with this organization we have heard stories from several of the girls who have been helped and how this has dramatically changed their lives for the better. They are not only given a safe place to stay but are given help with their education; given counseling; and given help moving back into the community. This is truly a very worthwhile organization and they not only help girls from the St. Louis area but around the country if someone has heard about what they do they come here to get help.
Crisis Aid International welcomed me in as a volunteer with open arms. The staff is incredibly friendly and giving. Pat Bradley is an amazing man who is incredibly selfless and passionate about helping others. I am so thankful that there is an organization right here in St. Louis focused on helping women and children both in our own backyard and around the world. I have loved my experience volunteering with Crisis Aid International and hope to help them continue to help others far into the future.
