Programs: Crestone charter school earned accreditation with distinction from the colorado state department of education and earned an "a" for colorado school grades ranking system based on standardized text scores. The school earned environmental recognition from the river watch organization for student participation in river water sample collection. The school began conducting a full curriculum of physical education classes in the new school for grades kindergarten through 8th grade. School staff wrote curriculum for health and nutrition standards of instruction. Students participated in district science fair, performed romeo and juliet production and took trips to chile, san fransicso, denver and mesa verde. The crestone charter school served 93 students (89. 5 full time enrolled by colorado state count day credits) during the school year ended june 30, 2014.
